Teachings "Unique to JW's" They Hide From You Before Baptism

JEHOVAH CAN'T BE YOUR FATHER IN THIS LIFE.

'they [JW Members] address him prospectively as "Our Father." -Wt.8/15/45 p. 253

    JESUS IS NOT YOUR MEDIATOR:

"In a strict Biblical sense Jesus is the 'mediator' only for 144,000 Christians." - Wt.4/1/7 9 p. 31

    YOU ARE NOT JUSTIFIED (SAVED):

The other sheep "are in a different condition... not even justified." - Wt. 38 p.104, 105

Of course, when you figure this out after you get baptized its too late. When you object to their deception they label you as an apostate and you say goodbye to your close family members forever. The family is going to be destroyed for those who stay and for the one who leaves. Most just tell themselves, "suck it up buttercup".... at least for a while until the enormity of the predicament that they are in sinks in.

These three things are the three key differences between Christians and JW's and they are HIDDEN from new converts as well as children who grow up in it. The 80 questions you must answer before baptism do not go anywhere near this stuff. Newbies are duped into slavery to obese overlords using their own family, children included, as hostages. It is just horrible.

You would think that more governments interested in protecting their families would disqualify the legal status of the Watchtower based on this deception alone.

Well said! That is a horrible deception. So are you a Christian now?

Got baptized at age 23 after being raised in it. Grew tired of the lies and blatant deception after 8 years.

Eventually became a Christian about 8 years after leaving and getting a college education.

How can we say that the JW's hide these teachings, when the references you have mentioned are out in the public domain on their website?

Any individual who is studying with the witnesses has access to these publications.

If an individual has not figured out these basic teachings after a year or 2 of studying, then there is something wrong with him.

Have to agree with Drearywether.... The candidate fo baptism has to answer 80 questions about the faith to ensure they understand.

Mind you, the books at the start of the study always show the enjoyment of paradise and removal of “the wicked “. It is not until some time later in the study that the difficult bits are encountered ...still pre baptism though

Baloney. I lived it and remember EVERYTHING CLEAR AS YESTERDAY. No one told me the core teachings of the WT during my baptismal prep. The 80 questions do not clearly spell out the core beliefs. The core teachings are buried deep in the sewer of past Watchtower publications. Review - they are:

    1. Jehovah can't be your Father.

    2. Jesus can't be your Mediator.

    3. You can't be Justified (Saved).

Christianity (and the Apostles) teach just the opposite:

    1. Jehovah CAN be your Father.

    2. Jesus CAN be your Mediator.

    3. You CAN be Justified (Saved).

Christians and JW's could not be more opposite to one another if they tried. The core Wt. teachings are not clearly revealed to new converts. In fact, JW's regularly LIE about these facts when they are confronted because JW's know that the average person would run like Hell if they told the truth! So, they lie to try to entrap another unsuspecting soul.

Here is a video PROVING the lies they speak to unsuspecting potential recruits. JW's lie over and over and over about whether or not Jesus is their Mediator in this video.

Well, for one thing they obscure and bury these teachings in tens of thousands of pages of published literature. Secondly, as the video shows, JW's frequently flat out lie to new people concerning these things. You have to craft your questions very carefully to get them to tell you the truth.

It is not normal for people to flat out lie to your face, especially so-called godly people. So, most children and new ones just believe the person (or parents) that are lying to them instead of digging deeply for these obscure doctrines. In short, they don't feel a need to research because THEY HAVE BEEN LIED TO.

I would love to ask this to a jw. -"so you talk about a time when their will be no more crime injustice poverty hunger etc. But to achieve this, God is going to destroy 99.9% of humans on earth. So no people no problems!"

You must not have very much experience in politics.
