How much fall-out can we expect?

  So the WTBTS ( The GB and the Branch, aka Lawyers and Puppet Masters ) have decided to end "Special Pioneering" for some, if not all of the Order. There is no way to accurately predict the fall-out, but it's potentially HUGE! Why??

  JWs, for the most part, are under educated, sheltered, unprepared, frightened humans. They barely survive. They only way they do is by the grace of other humans. For instance, think of all the Dubs living off the efforts of the tax-payer, or the financially secure Dub, which is rare.

  These "special" pioneers are often in this position because someone else is footing the bill. Sometimes it's other dubs who "have the spirit" but not the circumstances.

  I have family who left the USA for a 3rd World country. They have a home becuase other Dubs, who are Special Pioneers, let them stay in their home for a low rate. Meanwhile, they are "special pioneering" in another "developed" country.

  My family members are coming back for a break, before going where the spirit sends them. They have a plan to go help the great construction efforts in Warwick, then with the connections they make ( my theory ) get another foreign gig and life off the good graces of someone else.

  Now, where will they live while they take their break? After all, they have no money, no jobs, no home. They are going to live in the home of another Dub couple who, wait for it, are serving abroad. Can you see what's going to happen here?

  There could be a massive domino effect. Couple A loses their "special pioneer" status and their stipend. They try to make it in a KH of their choosing, but can't make ends meet. Why? All Dubs are simultaneously feeling the crunch. So they must go home. Couple B are informed that they can no longer have a low rent home, they must now go back to the USA, with no money or jobs.

  Couple B ( my relatives ) now can't stay in Couple C's home, because Couple C are no longer needed abroad either? Now Couple B are going to need to rely on other dubs, who are themselves trying to make ends meet while sending $$$ to the WTBTS Pedo fund.

  Multiply this by thousands.... There is only so much biomass available in a system, and the GB aren't sharing. If the WTBTS can't afford to pay for the top tier of pioneers who are saving souls, has Big J withdrawn his support?

  Has this been confirmed as a worldwide thing or is this just happening on a very small scale right now?

  Not much fall out but the Borg is becoming less and less relevant to even it's own members.

  I'm not sure of the scale, but the Dub world is a fragile ecosystem. These changes must cause a ripple effect, there's no way around it.

  So, right now we aren't sure if this applies to 5-10 people or hundreds (or, however many there are)...

  Might not be that much of a ripple affect if it's only 5-10 people...

  That's true. It's hard to know for sure. Maybe it's only SP's from Russia who are getting the boot? China, maybe??

  If the BORG starts sending a large number of SP's home, with no jobs, it won't be good. I already know of other Dubs ( Elderly ones ) with no pensions, and no places to live; they are dependent on other Dubs. You just can't keep adding more homeless dubs to the mix.

  I did not think the leaked letter mentioned anything about special pioneers so where is this information coming from?

  Serving in a foreign country and getting cheap rent or help has nothing to do with being a special pioneer. The local hall back home will just hear you are in Peru and assume its a big deal.
