    John 10:22-28

"At that time the Festival of Dedication took place in Jerusalem. It was wintertime, and Jesus was walking in the temple in the colonnade of Solʹo·mon. Then the Jews surrounded him and began to say to him: “How long are you going to keep us in suspense? If you are the Christ, tell us plainly.” Jesus answered them: “I told you, and yet you do not believe. The works that I am doing in my Father’s name, these bear witness about me. But you do not believe, because you are not my sheep. My sheep listen to my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them everlasting life, and they will by no means ever be destroyed, and no one will snatch them out of my hand."

It's not quite the time of the "Festival of Dedication" but since this is Sukkot, the season for joy, and this song is joyous...

And speaking of "seasons of joy"...

    Psalm 1:1-3

"Happy is the man who does not walk according to the advice of the wicked

And does not stand on the path of sinners

And does not sit in the seat of scoffers.

But his delight is in the law of Jehovah,

And he reads His law in an undertone day and night.

He will be like a tree planted by streams of water,

A tree that produces fruit in its season,

The foliage of which does not wither.

And everything he does will succeed."

    Romans 13:11,12

"Love does not work evil to one’s neighbor; therefore, love is the law’s fulfillment. And do this because you know the season, that it is already the hour for you to awake from sleep, for now our salvation is nearer than at the time when we became believers. The night is well along; the day has drawn near. Let us therefore throw off the works belonging to darkness and let us put on the weapons of the light."

    Matthew 13:30

"Let both grow together until the harvest, and in the harvest season, I will tell the reapers: First collect the weeds and bind them in bundles to burn them up; then gather the wheat into my storehouse.’"

(The harvest season is near. That will be a great cause for joy. Happy Sukkot!)

^^^ beautiful one - I'll enjoy/view after long day. Harvest is near (oh my) and I only check out the videos here. I admit I've read more scriptures (previously) on this Board than I knew existed.

Ya'll lighten/toughen up and get a 'Heart Like a Truck' - Lainey Wilson's borrowed version but I like the way she sings it best. Great show, btw, and I don't listen to country - I'd link video but racing here.

The story in the video is like the verses...

    Proverbs 25:15

"By patience a commander is won over,

And a gentle tongue can break a bone."

    Romans 5:3-5

"Not only that, but let us rejoice while in tribulations, since we know that tribulation produces endurance; endurance, in turn, an approved condition; the approved condition, in turn, hope, and the hope does not lead to disappointment..."

Okay, KalebOutWest, maybe you just want me to guess which Hallel Psalm is your favorite?

Well, I already shared Psalm 118 and you didn't say anything about it, so it must not be that one.

And I already shared Psalm 116 and you didn't say that one was your favorite.

So which ones are left? Hmm, Psalm 113, 114, 115, 117. (Aren't you glad that Psalm 119 isn't one of the Hallel's? Haha!😂)

Here's Psalm 114, dedicated to KalebOutWest who reads the scriptures almost every day and celebrates the Sukkot, the time when the Hallel's are read and sung repeatedly...

"When Israel went out of Egypt,

The house of Jacob from a people speaking a foreign language,

Judah became his sanctuary, Israel, his dominion.

    The sea saw it and fled;

    The Jordan turned back.

The mountains skipped about like rams,

    The hills, like lambs.

What made you flee, O sea?

Why, O Jordan, did you turn back?

Why did you skip about like rams, O mountains,

    Like lambs, O hills?

Tremble, O earth, because of the Lord,

Because of the God of Jacob,

Who turns the rock into a reedy pool of water,

The flinty rock into springs of water."

    EasyPrompt:

KalebOutWest, what's your favorite Hallel Psalm?

You know the answer because you also said in a previous post:

    I am a Jew.

Which would mean you went to Hebrew School like I did for 10 years or so. So why ask? You have the answer already.

EIther that or you are lying in your post and you are not Jewish. I think you say a lot of things in your posts that just don't match with facts. Jews know how the Recitation of Tehillim works in liturgical settings. That would be an odd thing for you to ask if you were really Jewish.

Perhaps in the heat of debate you say things you shouldn't because you feel you need to try to prove yourself or your point? In such an attempt I think you are saying things that are not accurate about yourself.

I am not going to acknowledge you anymore.

KalebOutWest said: "And besides, you can't prove anything. Where is your Jehovah? Can't Jehovah give you the spirit to enlighten you to prove to us that Jesus is alive? Or is he too busy going to the restroom and pooping? Remember, that is what Elijah said to the prophets of Baal when he teased them about their belief in a false god--they could not produce results either. If Jehovah is real, why can't he give you the spirit and fill you with the ability to prove to us that Jesus is alive?

Why can't your Jehovah produce the equivalent of "spiritual fire" in your heart and mind and produce evidence equivalent to that of what happened in the story of Elijah and the Baal worshipers? Either your Jehovah is not real or you are not a good enough servant for Jehovah to give spirit to.

"Jehovah" is just an invention of the Watchtower, not the real God of Abraham.

Either way, this is evidence for us not to listen to YOU ever again."

    I need not be considered.

1 Kings 18:27 At noon Elijah began to tease them. “Shout louder!” he said. “I’m sure Baal is a god! Perhaps he has too much to think about. Or maybe he has gone to the toilet. Or perhaps he’s away on a trip. Maybe he’s sleeping. You might have to wake him up.”

1 Peter 3:15 But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,"

"Who is the only true God and how have I ridiculed him? "

    2 Kings 1:9-12

"The king then sent to him a chief of 50 with his 50 men. When he went up to him, he was sitting on the top of the mountain. He said to him: “Man of the true God, the king says, ‘Come down.’” But E·liʹjah answered the chief of the 50: “Well, if I am a man of God, let fire come down from the heavens and consume you and your 50 men.” And fire came down from the heavens and consumed him and his 50 men. So the king sent again to him another chief of 50 with his 50 men. He went and said to him: “Man of the true God, this is what the king says, ‘Come down quickly.’” But E·liʹjah answered them: “If I am a man of the true God, let fire come down from the heavens and consume you and your 50 men.” And fire of God came down from the heavens and consumed him and his 50 men."

Jesus is the one depicted here in Revelation...

1:16 "And he had in his right hand seven stars, and out of his mouth a sharp, long, two-edged sword was protruding, and his countenance was like the sun when it shines at its brightest."

2:16 "So repent. If you do not, I am coming to you quickly, and I will war against them with the long sword of my mouth."

    Duran said: "@EasyPrompt

Other than saying, 'you believe', 'you think', 'you feel', what proof is there that Jesus is alive or ever even existed at all?"

    Revelation 11:5

"If anyone wants to harm them, fire comes out of their mouths and consumes their enemies."

See the light from heaven yet, KalebOutWest/Duran?

    Luke 21:14,15

Jesus' mouth is like a sword, the sword of the spirit, that contains God's Word. He said he would give us the words when we need them: "Therefore, resolve in your hearts not to rehearse beforehand how to make your defense, for I will give you words and wisdom that all your opposers together will not be able to resist or dispute."

KalebOutWest said: "I am not going to acknowledge you anymore."

Evidence of Jesus' existence proven. Case closed.

    Revelation 21:8

"But as for the cowards and those without faith and those who are disgusting in their filth and murderers and the sexually immoral and those practicing spiritism and idolaters and all the liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur. This means the second death.”
