The ideological conception of religious mongering/charlatans is that short cut groomed hair is indicative to having a righteous wholesome presentation to the public..
Kind of like a car salesperson or business sales representative.
There lies the real reason the WTS heads instituted a no long hair policy to men or beards which were seen in negative acceptance.

I think that in 20 years the beard thing will be all but gone. Have a beard or not, no big deal.
But right now, it's an act of congress if you have one.

It's all about a corporate image, Jesus must have had the first Norelco electric razor. If this was the TRUE religion, it would have not changed since the beginning, no "new understanding", beards, holidays or trying to sweep the older teachings under the rug, "you can get rid of those old bound volumes, we have new control tactics now". The Overlapping Generation did me in, I ask people to explain it to me and all I see is a deer in the headlights. The best thing that I ever did was to move to an area where people dont know me, grow a beard and fade away.
