As my best-friend I love her unconditionally and I forgive her past and look over it, just as she would with me.

Not trying to be "that person" but you haven't forgiven, forgot, or looked over anything. Sorry. My advice, if you like her, be with her. Live in the moment (Jesus actually commanded that at Matt, 6:34) and enjoy each other. If not, move on and don't play with her emotions.

From a practical standpoint: If she has had multiple partners and has been promiscuous, I wouldn't have any sexual contact with her until I knew that she was free of any sexually transmitted diseases. Better safe than sorry.

I wasn't gonna say anything because it's a very sensitive subject but if I was in Jxvi's shoes, I'd somehow try to explain my concerns to the young lady, with the goal being that me and her both volunteer for blood tests.

If she truly loves you, she'll be willing to go along with it to put your mind at rest.

I think the very fact that you came here and posted the story indicates that you are not prepared for a commitment to this woman. Sounds like you need to break out of your comfort zone and experience many more diverse relationships and situations. Healthy relationships are two way streets....and it sounds like sexually you two aren't even in the same town let alone on the same street.

I agree with just about everything said here.

It's time to look at the dangerous cult that are the JW's. They didn't start as a religion back in 1879 they started as a publishing business then morphed into a real estate holding company.

What they started with............. was the Adventist religion, throw in a mix of the importance of the pyramids and a belief in the stories found in Genesis which if you looked into it were Jewish tales based on prior civilizations. Genesis is based on myths.

The name Jehovah was invented by a 12th century Catholic monk. No one knows this god's proper name.

The JW's themselves became a legal religion in 1941.....for tax purposes.

The sins of the JW's are many. Here's a short list:

The ban on blood transfusions........this is the only religion that has this belief. SO unfortunately thousand's of JW's die needlessly every year. By the way...... they made this belief up.

They are not in favor of higher education.

They shun the crap out of their followers. Review the reasons you can be shunned. Google their book Shepherding the Flock

Women do not serve in any positions other then the privilege of going door to door.

The WTBTS is not receiving biblical insights from Jehovah........far too many beliefs have been dropped over the last century. In fact they have attempted to destroy many of the teachings of Russell, Rutherford and Freddy Franz.

Obedience is more important as faith to the leadership of the JW's

The 'two witness' rule has made JW pedophiles very happy. The Society has made this issue almost impossible to eradicate. They are how paying out a ton of money to settle in court. Just google Jehovah's Witnesses and Pedophiles. Select the non apostate sites for up to date information. CNN, CBS, various newspapers etc.

As far as I can tell your confused about a lot of things so before you get baptized and have to march in step............. do your homework.

Look mate, having “lots” of partners doesn’t = not respecting oneself. People enjoy sex, some more than others. It wouldn’t bother me one bit if my gf had been with hundreds before me. It’s not really anything to do with you.

what matters is right now. If she actually wants to have sex with you that’s a good thing, it means she’s into you. Have her previous partners been “just sex”? Probably. But again in the real world there’s nothing wrong with that.

You think you got problems now just wait until you become a JW and you’ll be required to ask the elders if you can or can’t do this or that position (I’m not joking).

The past is in the past jax. I married a woman with a kid and raised her as my daughter. A person's past decisions dont taint a person they make them who they are. Unless they are a former criminal or cult leader!
