You ressurected some old memories of Freddies way of talking. I remember reading all this but do not remember ever being able to tie it together. By that I mean.....the words he used never fit the actuall reality.
Also the dates of 1918/1919 were always a maze to me. One day I remember asking a elder....when I will still a MS that I would like to look into the dates that didn't jive with the claims made by the society.. He said the society didn't encourage looking into "older publications"and doing re-search out of them. I remember that bugged me then......but as most dubs do.....I let it go.
BTW.....do ya think old freddie snuck out the back balcony and rolled up big fat reefers.....before doing his writing?

refiners ; i thought i was the only one that liked the 1919 stuff. i keep pounding the jw's on it. this week i used that in 1917 any one that protested the war in ww1 was put in jail. and for the organisers like the wt and other war protesters in ww1 they were given 20 years in prison in the U>S> it is funny that the jw's forget all the other preachers and anti war org's in 1917. if the gov't were to follow the law of 1917 today every war protester would be jailed and the leaders be put in prison for 20 years. i think it was the sedition act. of 1917. just think people like jesse jackson and u.s. senators and the president of france could be taken out of the hands of babylon the great when the war is over wow the god in brooklyn is great..john
Gumby and JohnCip. I just got hold of an original copy of "Finished Mystery" as opposed to a photocopied copy of about half the book, I flipped thru the original and its got some pages cut out with a knife. Pages 247 thru 254 are missing.

Gee.....I wonder why? Could it be those pages were the seditious ones and someone was instructed to cut them out.
Gumby. Well,I guess at least its an original edition, its not a 1920 version or a 24 version or whatever. I looked at those knife cuts and realized that, 85 years ago, some gumbo Bible student at headquarters sat there for days slitting pages 247- 253 out of 10,000 copies of "The Finished Mystery" to placate the evil Satanic government, compromising his Christian neutrality. Poor bastard.
