Hi I'm 12 turning 13 in a while & I am Utopian_Raindrops daughter & CassandraCain's sister.
I had gotten interested in this forum & then found this site at school about Galileo & I told my mom she should post it on the forum but then I went NO I want to PLzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. And so I am goin to share this with you ^_^. Galileo was the astronomer that got ridiculed by his church etc. He made this qoute that I really loved & made me somewhat giggle

The quote is great! I took a peek at the site and was glad I did. Somehow, I misremembered... After years away from high school science, I had thought that Galileo and Copernicus had opposing theories, but now I've just learned that Galileo became convinced of Copernicus' theory of the planets' revolution around the sun while using his own invention, the telescope. I feel smarter!
