Thanx to all that replied to my first post.
After lurking on this forum for months and reading so many stories, I have laughed with you all, cried with all, and learned more than I ever thought about such a hate based cult. My SIL did not go thru anything as bad as some of you here but he missed so much of his childhood. No firends outside the hall, no holidays, and no sports( Big New England Patriots fans here), No nothing. His mom has much guilt about it to this day.
Big Tex-Chaos is my puppies name lol, so thus I am Chaosmama.

Welcome both of you.Great news that your sil was able to free himself so young...Glad that your taking him under your wing( so to speak) Yes! it is sad that they divide so many families!! But I am glad you found this "family" weather your an outsider of the JW or an insider of the EXJW it is great to have you aboard.....And to any JW who are just lurking.Come on in!!! Welcome to the board. It is sad that the WTS causes so much stress on family relationships. Hopefully from what you have read, you will have a better understanding what he went through, and why they are doing what they are doing.
I would hope that his brother and father still love him, but they are brainwashed at this moment, and see nothing else except for the fact that your son in law is no longer a witness.
