I could only think of weddings and wedding anniversaries
I want to know what celebrations JWs don't consider pagan?

- The Memorial.
- Your baby's first memorial.
- Giving your first talk.
- Your Baptism.
- The aninversary of your first talk or baptism.
- Placing your first magazine.
- The first time someone slams the door in your face.

In the Spanish cong, we are big on bridal showers, weddings, wedding anniversaries, baby showers, graduations, a couple of times a year kids parties, and we do quite a bit of gatherings at our homes 'just because'.
We have no shortage of partying at all in the Spanish side.😎

Don't know how to answer your question: Does "wine and cheese party" qualify as a celebration!
Doubtfully Yours adds "just because"
JWS will make up all sorts of things to get together so,

Hey Pete Zahut
Where did you grow up? :)
In my part of the world you could NOT mix Spiritual EventsTM with anything enjoyable, it would render the spiritual power of said event null and void,
Ya Vol!!

I don't think they could regard Thanksgiving as pagan since it was inaugurated by Christians, but it's still against the rules. Really, the whole "it's pagan objection" is just an excuse to isolate JWs from non-JW family members.
