Do Any Of You Dream About JW Friends You had ?

  What prompted this topic was a dream I had last night where I was engaged in a conversation I had with an old friend where i was trying to prove where the JW`s were wrong from their own Bible.

  And this is not the first time I have had such dreams.

  Often times I have had dreams about people I have known in the religion .

  Remember I have been away from the religion for more than 26 years now and in a totally different part of the country .

  I now wonder if any of them ever dream about my wife and I ? But that`s something I`ll never know.

  Do any of you have any such experiences ?

  Maybe I`m spending too much time on this site LOL

  Just curious if anybody wants to comment.

  I don't dream about JWs that I use to know, but I do think about them from time to time and wonder if they eventually left as well. There was one sister (also a regular pioneer) that I use to know, and she raised her son alone. He did have a father, but he was not living with them. I had learned that her son eventually came out of the closet so to speak, she decided to disassociate herself instead of turning her back on her son. She was not the only one from that family who also left either.

  I don't remember dreaming about any specific Jehovah's Witnesses I met a few years ago, but I do dream about them collectively now and then. I hear some mention of them in a dream, or some people I don't recognize are Jehovah's Witnesses.

  Having played a musical instrument, I have, over the years had dreams related to either playing or not playing in the orchestra's of the day. (I was involved in the 1969 showgrounds orchestra)
  

  And of not being selected for a special 'spiritual occasion' or wedding of prominent jws.

  Ha ha,,,,, I've played in bands since then for many years and loved not doin jw stuff !! but the dreams persisted at times.

  Yes I do. Especially about my cousin who was my best friend growing up. I haven't seen her for nearly 10 years now.

  days of future passed

  I went thru a spate of JW dreams recently. People from the old hall, assemblies and the dreaded you have a talk tonight nightmare. But none of it had specific people talking to me. Kind of reminded me of school dreams - what is my locker number? What class am I supposed to be in?

  Honestly no , I miss the friends I grew up with down the street that we’re not JWs.

  Yes! I often see in the dreams my friends remaining JW!

  I am sure that they see me sometimes too.

  Memory tied to the senses does not disappear.
