sixofnine, neonmadman,
The April 1 [Fool's] issue of the Watchtower made some key points about the King of the North [Dakota] ...
Now somewhere in the black mountain hills of Dakota
There lived a young boy named Rocky Raccoon ...
Rocky Raccoon checked into his room
Only to find Gideon's bible
....[and about his girl]
Her name was Magil and she called herself Lil
But everyone knew her as Nancy.
Now she and her man who called himself Dan
Were in the next room at the hoe down
...
Now Rocky Raccoon he fell back in his room
Only to find Gideon's bible
Gideon checked out and he left it no doubt
To help with good Rocky's revival.
In the "Lost Watchtower Tapes," from a recently discovered IBSA recording session in the 1960s London Branch Office:
In its first fulfillment, Rocky, whom we can now confidently identify as the "King of the North", is shown to be from the "mountain hills." The expression "mountain hills" has often been criticized by modern day, so-called scholars, who point out that the writer appears to be confused about the difference between a hill and a mountain. Of course the original Hebrew word translated "hill" appears not as the usual "tel" (e.g., Tel-Aviv) but "har" which can refer to anything from a valley (e.g., Har-Mageddon, Mountain or Valley of Megiddo) on up to the tallest mountain, as we see in Mt. Hairy-Rat (or Ararat), where Noah's ark came to rest after the floodwaters subsided. The association with Hairy Rat is an important one, because the Hebrew word for Racoon uses the same root as the word for "hairy rat." In fact, the Aramaic word "ra'ca" (which means when translated, "you dirty rat") is the same word which Jesus used in the Sermon on the Mount (Aramaic, tel). The word is usually censored, and has, in fact, been replaced with the expression "an unspeakable word of contempt" in the New World Translation.
Undoubtedly, therefore, the association with Gideon places the King of the North in the land of Midian which was once mountainous, but was no doubt washed away in the flood of Noah's day. The association with a girl named Magil, apparently is a reference to false worship of Lil or Lilith in the land of Gog and Magog. Clearly, the northern tribe of Dan must also have been influenced by the same false worship.
To understand the modern-day fulfillment, it should be clear that Rocky, through this association with "the highest mountains" is attempting to place himself on the same level as Zion, the mountain of Jehovah. The "revival" spoken of here is therefore obviously a misconception that Satan the Devil, the "father of the lie," has used to try to ensnare Jehovah's people. To identify the true King of the North in our day, we only need look at the overwhelming evidence of geography. If we look at the longitudinal lines running through Mt. Ararat, Mt. Megiddo, Midian and Magog (and the Dakotas) and take the line as far north as possible, we would reach the North Pole. Clearly, then Jehovah's favored people can confidently identify the King of the North as none other than Santa Claus.
Gamaliel, who knows how to run an inside joke into the ground...
