Searcher, thank you. That's quite an extensive list of scriptures that highlight & emphasize the role Jesus and his name should have in the life of a Godly person.
Another scripture that has convinced me that Jesus expects equal time with God is a verse where Jesus himself is quoted as saying: "This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ. (John 17:3)
I have a tough time figuring out how it is that Jehovah's Witnesses overlook the latter part of that verse...'and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ'.

Shouldn't the name Jehovah's Witnesses really be called Watchtower Corporate Witnesses. ?
They are after all public witnessing the doctrines created by the Watchtower Publishing house, not the Gospel described in the bible out of Jesus's own words and instructions. .......... just saying

To go along with Blondies first post, the scripture they refer to in Jeremiah is about Israel and the god of the Israelites was named El , IsraEl.

After that statement was made in Isaiah 43:10-12 nobody least of all the nation of Israel ever took up the name Jehovah`s Witnesses And centuries later when Jesus walked the earth he never chastised them for not doing so
