In 2013 the revised NWT came out and changed the old edition's "fornication" and its related words "fornicating," "fornicator" etc. in all their roughly 70 occurrences.
Has the word completely dropped from usage in the Witness world? For example, is it still used in the disfellowshiping report sent to the branch which lists the sin the DFed one is guilty of?
I could be wrong, but this is one word that has a long history, one not easy to erase by a change in translation.
In the revised bible 'fornication' is now usually rendered as 'sexual immorality'.

Depending on the actual circumstances, one of the following expressions would be used (for 'fornication', 'porneia' would be used):

This is another amendment to the 2013 NWT that I quibbled over . The phrase " Sexual immorality " is a conclusion reached by the reader, were as fornication is a specific act .
To many people , the majority in our society, living together as a couple unmarried is not immoral, but in JW land it is.
A Bible translation ought to be precise.
