Jesus is the Topper of all MYTHS. In that way I appreciate Jesus.

I'm not convinced by mythological theories about Jesus. The gospel writers tie themselves in knots to try to make his story align with Old Testament references. They would not do that if he was made out of "whole cloth".

The latest and most compelling attempt to explain Jesus as a mythological character was made by Richard Carrier - "On the Historicity of Jesus: Why We Might Have Reason for Doubt".

No he didn't. He was passionate about the Law and taught his disciples to follow it meticulously. He rejected the way the OT was being interpreted by the Pharisees.

But is also true that he undermined the authority of Bible writers like Moses and mixed two conflicting creation accounts when only either of them is true. (Mark 10:1-9)

When God made Solomon the wisest king that ever lived, stating there would never be another like him (1 Kings 3:12) Jesus simply declared he is greater than Solomon. (Mathew 12:42; Luke 11:31)

Jesus gives no thought to the correctness of what he speaks of OT events/persons. For example, when Ahimalech was the high priest when David ate the show-bread (1 Sam.21:1-6) Jesus declares it was Abiathar who was the high priest when David ate the show-bread. (Mar 2:26)

Saename, the myth maybe that Inanna clothes were removed as she passed into the underworld as well as other parts to the story may not be exactly like that of Jesus story.

Osiris was originally killed by his brother and cut up into pieces and then he went to the underworld. His story morphed over time to be resurrected in three days and not only became the god of the under world and judgment but also in heaven as the constellation of Orion. People would go to his temple and eat grain and drink beer . Not exactly the same as Jesus meal where they ate bread and drank wine but you see my point.

Later in the Dyonisus story they do drink wine and he is shown being crucified on a cross.

These stories all have to do with the dying and resurrecting gods of fertility and the growing season. By the time the jesus story was told it had changed again and again and again . But in almost every story the god is killed and then resurrected near or on the time of the spring Equinox. Even the Inanna story changed to do time and Geographical location. These stories also took on the elements of Astro theology and evolved because of this as well.

Venus - Jesus believed in the Law with a passion. He rejected not one jot or tittle of the Old Testament.

When the sun reaches the tropic of Cancer.....the only way is down as it makes its journey back to the tropic of Capricorn.

The light starts to decrease......however when it reaches the tropic of Capricorn at the winter solstice it starts to climb again....and light starts increasing once more.

This is why John says....."that one must go on increasing and I shall go on decreasing"

The sun is behind the story of Elisha.......When the sun is at the winter solstice the rays or "hair" of the sun have disappeared....the sun is in effect "baldy" and the only way to get its hair back is to go back up to the tropic of Cancer once more.......so "go up you baldhead,go up you baldhead"! (the two bears are ursa major and ursa minor)

The sun and its yearly journey is also behind the story of Samson (Samson means man of the sun...the clue is in the name).

Again,Samson loses his hair (strength/rays) after visiting Delilah (house of Virgo).....before that he fights a lion and there are bees in the lion....this is the constellation of Leo and "Praesepe" the beehive cluster.

Hercules is also the sun.....and his 12 labours are the 12 signs of the zodiac.

Jesus is the sun...and he walks round Galilee (Galilee means circuit....the circuit of the year....with his 12 disciples/12 signs of the zodiac).

A more modern version of the cycle and the 12 zodiac signs are found in the story of "King Arthur" (the sun) and the 12 "knights" (signs of the zodiac) of the round table (the circle of the year).

It's all stories about the sun......that is why the prophets could prophesy......they could work out what happens in each part of the cycle....whether daily,yearly or the cycle of the ages.

I was reffering to conventions and scriptures of Jesus's time, not limiting only to the Law. Even Richard Dawkins shares this view: “Jesus was not content to derive his ethics from the scriptures of his upbringing. He explicitly departed from them. ... Since a principal thesis of this chapter is that we do not, and should not, derive our morals from scripture, Jesus has to be honoured as a model for that very thesis.”--God Delusion

Dawkins is wrong about that. He should stick to biology.

Dawkins must have a point because of the following:

Law says ‘you can lend money to the poor, but you should not charge interest’ (Exodus 22:25)

‘Leave something for the poor when glean your vineyard’ (Leviticus 19:10)

But see how far Jesus departed from such superficial Laws when he said: “When you give a luncheon or dinner, do not invite your friends, your brothers or sisters, your relatives, or your rich neighbors; if you do, they may invite you back and so you will be repaid. But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind.” (Luke 14:12, 13) He even indirectly hinted that such laws are not from God (Mathew 5:44-48)

Not one word in your post lends any support to your false assertion about Jesus' view of the Law or any of the OT.
