A pedophile can still be a great director, or actor, or painter, etc., but that doesn't change the evil that they do in their lives off the stage. I haven't seen Pianist, so I do not know if he deserved the best director award. But I do think he is a talented director. I was very disappointed that he received a standing ovation however. That was inappropriate.
Why is the pressure placed on the victim to forgive far greater than the pressure placed on the pedophile to ask for forgiveness?
