If you watch the video I don't knock window cleaners ,I'm only attacking the Watchtower for forcing wrong financial advise to millions of jws for decades and now that things are turning bad worldwide with the living standards crisis they want you to fantasise about the new system

St George of England
I remember a few years ago a visiting speaker mentioning in his Public Talk that he was still working as a window cleaner even though he was in his mid seventies. He said he wished Armageddon would come soon as that would be the only way he could retire due to the high cost of living here in SE England.
Judging by what window cleaners here charge they probably earn plenty but it's also a case of saving and financial planning for old age. That's the old age that so many never expected to reach!

Its painful to hear all the time ;
"I thought I'd never get old in this system".
Over the years.

There are far more sisters cleaning houses to help their low earning husbands make ends meet. This would have been a better picture and title.

How about Van Morrison.
I am not sure of the title of the song but the line he sings is
"I'm a working man in my prime , cleaning windows"
Always gives me reason to smile.
I have a mate that cleans windows,, not a jw and he earns pretty good money here in Australia.
Owns his own home and enjoys the good things in life. And he is in his fifties looking to retire
before he hits sixty.

Edit,,, the song is called 'Cleaning Windows'

The problem isn't the "trade" ( window washing, painting, janitorial) it is the lack of using basic 6th-grade math and understanding you will be working for the rest of your active years.
If you know what your expenses will be after inflation, it is simply a matter of SAVING 10-20% of your weekly earnings and investing them wisely. It requires a pocket calculator and the ACCURATE knowledge you will probably be working for the next 40+ years and then be too old to work.
Believing Armageddon is any day now and you will soon pet tigers and Panda Bears forever is delusion....not logical, or solid financial planning. :)
As a senior, I am embarrassed to admit I was childlike, and I believed Watchtower BS for 50 YEARS !! It is like believing Santa Claus is real....as an adult. That is what makes me angry.
Here is the window-washing song :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lc9J96f4cDk
