OK folks, honestly, I know many of you have travelled some, and a few have ventured into some pretty exotic far off places.

What I would like to know is:

Where did you go on your last vacation?

Where is the most Exotic place you have visited?

What place would you recommend to a single person?

What place would you recommend to a married couple?

What place would you recommend to a family with children?

Have any of you experience strange or unusual events during your travels?

Where is the next place you are going to go to (vacation)?

I am interested. I think this is a lovely diversion.....think of the global paradises waiting to be visited.

The answer I'll give to almost all of those questions is Maui. I'll be leaving for there in 5 weeks again. We are staying for at least 6 weeks this time. Perhaps much much longer.

Maybe one of the strangers things I've done there is to hand feed a shark inside of a cave.

Where is the most Exotic place you have visited? Boquete Island, Mindoro Occidental, Philippines.

What place would you recommend to a single person? Eleuthra Island, The Bahamas.

What place would you recommend to a married couple? Niagara Falls, ON. Canada

What place would you recommend to a family with children? Any National Park in the USA/Canada.

Have any of you experience strange or unusual events during your travels? Having a boa constrictor/python slither under where I was sleeping (outside) in the Philippines.

Where is the next place you are going to go to (vacation)? (wishful thinking here) Bora-Bora, French Polynesia (South Pacific).

Have any of you experience strange or unusual events during your travels? Having Muslim men proposition me, constantly, in Malaysia. For some reason they think Western women are easy, even if they are 50ish married, and grandmothers.

Where is the next place you are going to go to (vacation)? Florida

Jumeriah Beach, Dubai....was great. Its sister Hotel which is 5 mins away is fun to dine in! We had a meal in the underwater restaurant that you get to by submarine ride.

Not sure its worth going at the moment, though!

I have been nowhere!! Well nowhere exotic...my list of places to travel is a mile long, but as far as exotic destinations...

Maldives (great diving/tropical island--who wouldn't want to go?)
Bali (More tropical goodness, plus some niffty culture)
Cambodia (I just wanna see Ankor Wat)
Thailand
Moroco
Eygpt
