Last night my husband and I attended a Christmas concert at a church, which both of our grandchildren were in. It was in a beautiful church, festive lights and all. The children recited poems, recited scripture, and sang all the lovely Christmas songs we all know, Silent Night, Joy to the World, etc. Then, the children recited poems, in a large group, recited ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. There was a cookie reception after. Lovely evening.

I was in TESCO today and noticed a distinct lack of Christmas music, probably so as not to upset a certain demographic. I play festive songs throughout the year, one of my favourite being:-
