Congratulations, and as a side note, you won't need to hand in your DA letter, you automatically become DA'd when you join the military.

Most of us waving the flag and shouting hooray are to old to join the military.

When this war started I called the army, and was told 35 was the cut off age. Im37, bit I’m going this week to the police dept, to volunteer for homeland security

Agreed WT........some of us aren't able to join.......but there is still things we can do to support our troops. There isn't anything wrong with "waving a flag and shouting hooray" if that is all someone can do.
