I agree with you that I have never been drawn to believe in the trinity . There are numerous references in the Greek Scriptures that make it clear that Jesus claimed to be only himself, seperate from God the Father. That is Ok . There is no requirement to believe a trinity
Disfellowshipping unscriptural ? Not in principle according to 1 Cor 5.11 or 2 John .10. However, a careful reading of the context would reveal a very different definition of apostacy to that taught by the WT
"Immorality" is clearly outside the scope of acceptable Christian behaviour acccording to the Bible and many generations of human society in most cultures. Some have come up with interesting discussions of the Greek "Pornea", though.
It is not to say that JWs have nothing right. They do. Mainly the things shared with some other Christian groups . But they have so many things wrong that I am as convinced as I can be that they do not have the Holy Spirit, are not a "F & D Slave" with special links to God
