I agree. All can help and all do help. I try and throw in a tidbit here and there. My point was ....I favor the two I mentioned because of their writing ability and the message they can convey. I also enjoy your comments.

Are we running our of subjects? No, we recycle the same subjects over and over again. So, what are some of the subjects that get rehashed. Well, one of my favorites is the man or woman who is not a Witness, but is in love with one, and is sleeping with them. What a tale of woe that is, but nothing you can tell them will change their mind about their deep and abiding love. I want to puke. Then we have the creation - evolution debate. Creationists, get off the stage. You have nothing to offer. Also, we have those who believe that everything in the Bible is true. So, you bring up the Noah myth and they have no way of defending it. The only thing that is new, that I like is when new people tell their stories and share their experiences with us. That gives me great joy.

Every day, at least another 100 people leave the JWs. Who knows how many 100,000s of others never let the foot get past their door because of what they read here, and on similar sites?

Yep, that's what it's all about. None of us have all the answers...but, all of us have our experiences. And the sharing of what we've personally gone through is what matters most, from what I've seen here.

I think people naturally talk about the most important things they have on their mind. Currently this is the war ... it's a bit more "here and now" than whether 607 isd the correct date for the fall of Jerusalem for instance, LOL.
I'm sure once it's over or as it drags on and people get bored with it that the regular type of topics will come to the for once more.

Larc, that's what I'm looking for, experiences. I've know the about the wit's since 1948 and I don't want to re-hash, hash. I'm interested in learning what people are presently doing and what their future plans are. Do we set goals/plans, etc. I'm not talking about people who smoke and drink over coffee and re-hash hash when they could be doing something with their lives. Most mornings I go to two different coffee shops and engage in community news. Anyways, the weather is breaking and soon I'll be on the golf links.

Nah this room will never run out of subjects. The world moves and different events happen. When a group of people say for example work together every day, you dont run out of things to say do you ?
