BOC I have had both. They are excellent drinks. The problem with single malts is there is so much variety between the batches which understandably adds to the experience for some. The blended ones are mixed to create a very specific profile. I love the JW Blue. It just matches my taste. -

Macallan is my favorite over all. 18 yr is the king of all in my opinion. Laphroaig is my favorite islay which I love them very much. Johnnie blue is good. I would be lying to say its not. I just feel it's not as good as its price. I'd rather go Macallan. And the japanes... they are coming up. Great whisky coming from Japan. -

@SecretSlaveClassI drank the first half of the bottle neat (not all at once :-O). Then I tried it with ice. I like it even better that way.

Yes! It's supposed,to be had with ice or a shot of water to unlock the pete. But hell I won't lie, I'm guilty of swallowing a bottle of two as uncivilized as I tend to be. 😉
