In Stephen letts annual meeting talk he spent about 15min. Talking about how the garden of Eden compares to our spiritual paradise that we are currently inhabiting. He didn't mention the earthly paradise until the very last sentence. And our CO talk he as well talked about our spiritual paradise. And IMAGINING what an earthly paradise would be like in our minds. So could they soon say the paradise is a state of mind?

1) remember them recently saying that the paradise described in Isaiah 65. refers at least in the first fulfilment to the state of the returnees from captivity.

2) they disowned earlier types/antitypes, 1st & 2nd fulfillments, so,

if you put 1 and 2 together they have opened up a path, whether they will dare enter is another question weasel and wishy washy language always was their forte.

Good point nowhat? I have felt for some years that they might end up doing this very thing saying that the paradise is really the 'spiritual paradise' among the brothers (some paradise!)

Nothing has changed in JWS theology, the great crowd is going to live on in paradise earth right after Armageddon for 1000 years, which by the way is going to happening very soon.

There now put the drugs down and stop going to those meetings at that Kingdom Hall your attending.

You should know by now the WTS leaders are not academically trained bible theologians, none of them were, they're corrupt book and literature publishers or commercialized false Prophets if you adhere to the bible.

I doubt it highly, that's part of how they rope people in. It's the carrot to their eventual stick, and even the most die-hard Jehovah's Witnesses would feel betrayed if they pulled that rug out from under them, particularly in the global south, where promises of an estate in the mountains must sound pretty damn lovely.

Physical Paradise is a core concept. They won't ditch it. Its just that they want to keep bracing the members for unrealized expectations, so they may not get Paradise soon, but they already have spiritual Paradise.

Yup. If you asked thee average Jw what their religion is all about "THE paradise"is almost the first thing out of their mouths.

Its actually very clever. The older annointed would say "now where would YOU rather be, heaven....or paradise Earth?" Of course to most humans its no contest, and it was used to "prove" A) you didn't have a heavenly hope and B) their theology must be correct!
