The organisation has always connected growth in numbers, publications and property with god's blessing.
They seem have set their themselves up for some difficult questions from the faithful.

Looks much to me like that nutty cult Islam is growing like wildfire. I use the word 'seems' because I don't believe all I hear. I agree that the 'little one becoming a mighty nation' (some boring scripture), has all gone didlow.
No doubt 'new light(tm)' will cover it, or Jehovah(tm) waving his magic wand and making magic happen.
The further I get away from the slaveholdery of the mind control is the dafter it all seems. Did we ever believe that nonsense?
Why are JWs not questioning why the Organization seems to have lost Jehovah's Blessing? Isn't that really the logical conclusion that one should come to by all of the cutbacks and lack of financial support?
Isn't that the "elephant in the room" that everyone is ignoring?
Can we tactfully say that (in a sincere, worried manner) to JWs?

Sorry Cofty, but from what I have heard from the faithful so far it's simply the F&DS being even more discreet. Jehovah is ensuring that the preaching work is given even more attention. The chariot is speeding up even more and we all need to be on board. "Reassignments" have happened before. Move along, nothing to see here.
How many of them really believe it is another question, but they certainly are simply rationalising the cognative dissonance about "growth=blessing, contraction=blessing therefore growth=contraction" away....
