Anyone have any anecdotal reports of individual congregation finances since the stealth takeover by the WT of their checking accounts?
Are donations up? Can they pay their bills?

I've been in 2 congregations since then. Contributions continue to exceed the bills and Watchtower skims the excess off the top of the checking accounts every year.
Working class congregation. Donations seem to slowly exceed expenses until the magic ceiling hits and then a non Robert's resolution is made.
There is no breakdown; donations, "bill", and amount in WWW box. Any special need like aroof, paving, vandalism etc.is seperate.
Add the hospitality coercion and feeding pioneer school.
The borg skim off the tops of the congregations but when the roof needs repair they solicit the congregation for more donations
Is an accouting statement posted any more in the "information" board?
blondie: yes.
The Borg skims off the top.
They dont pay any taxes either.
But,,,when they rely on the police department or fire department to protect their assets they dont hesitate to call them.
Services which are paid for by municipal taxes of the workforce. Locally.
Blonde. Posted but just what is read; beginning balance, monies spent (no breakdown), ending balance.
No idea what electric, heat, water, money sent off to mom, etc. is.

No. The congregations are directed to post the Page 1 of the Accounts report which includes the breakdown of all receipts and all individual disbursements. The congregation members can see where the money is going.

Congregations that are unable to pay their bills can pass it off to the branch. According to the latest direction, the congregation is responsible for only scheduled maintenance, i.e. Replacing air conditioning filters, cleaning ventilation grilles, replacing light bulbs, checking plumbing fixtures, checking and adjusting door hardware, checking exit lights, changing engine oil on lawn mower, touch-up painting.
The branch, approves and pays for all other expenses that constitutes repair, Minor Renovations, Upgrades, and New Installations, Major Renovations, and New Construction
