Brilliant! Sad but true. That’s why you get ridiculous rules such as bans on beards being debated for hours and hours. They are not in the Bible. Now they’ve admitted you just need to read their publications, discussion over. Silly me. Here was me thinking they used the Bible!

I remember the first time I heard "Master of Puppets" by Metallica. I thought the lyrics were talking about religion until the line about taking your breakfast on a mirror. I still think it fits.

I was the designated reader at the Book Study. The questions were all asked, the scriptures all read, and the conductor asked me to go ahead and read the next scripture. He got a blank stare out of me because I didn't know what he wanted. He repeated himself and I realized that he meant the next paragraph. He was having a senior moment but it was telling on him how he had confused WT literature with the Bible.
