When I'm extremely board I look up JWs on LinkedIn.

Steven is clearly counting his time. Lol

'How did you learn about watchtower and come into their religion?'
'Well, a pompous, self deluded, brainwashed religious zealot called Stephen Babb spoke to me with utter superior condescension on LinkedIn, and I immediately thought, I must embrace this pricks religion!'

How lame. Using a platform for professional career advancement to tell you if you’re not a Jehovah, I’m not going to connect with you on said platform.

This behavior will backfire on them.

Good onya, Steve! Keep everyone not in your religious clique safely at arm's length, so you don't get to learn that "worldly" people can be kind and acceptable friends and companions. 🙄

Linkedin is full of simps pretending they love working 60 hrs a week for a boss they hate.

His referral to the Borg website is interesting…it says no tracking of visitors. Is he sure about that? 😂😂😂😂

Reminds me of a CO in the 1980's relating an experience with glee about a manager of a Woolworths store having a bible study.

At Christmas the Woolworths manager pulled off all the 'worldly' Xmas music/carols on the store PA and instead played back to back kingdom melodies.

The audience listening to the CO broke into applause, but the whole thing made me sick.

What would the JW's do if someone entered a convention and replaced their kingdom melodies with 'worldly tunes'...

"...it is my choice to connect with others that have a deep appreciation for what Jesus Christ taught and that apply his teachings daily in their lives now."

Wow. After this obnoxious, smug and insulting comment, he invites the person to visit the website and find out more? Sure, dude! I'd love to become a condescending know-it-all just like you! Sign me up!

I honestly don't understand the logic of only connecting with Jehovah's Witnesses when the thing you boast about the most is your preaching activity. Wouldn't you want to connect with as many people as possible who might be interested in your message and religious activities?

Oh, right! It's because the Watchtower doesn't want you to do that! They want absolute control over anything related to the message. You're a minister, but you're not allowed to publish anything publicly!

I can't remember exactly when that instruction came out in the Kingdom Ministry, but I do recall it was one of those things that solidified my desire to leave the cult.
