Here is what I found that really interested me. Here was some old “finds “ that help us appreciate how the Adam and Eve story with Satan tempting them began.

You know what I learned (the hard way)? Whenever I'm working on a long post, or copying something over, I first paste it into Microsoft Word and then I paste it here. That way if it gets lost, I still have it active in Word and I go get again.

You know, if you're a loser, what does that make me? Scary thought.

It looks like this will be an interesting Thread when you are able to post all the info. (I understand completely -- I have had formatting problems on this Website too).

You know, you could very well be correct. There could have been stories about Adam and Eve before Genesis was written.

But, think about it -- they were the first humans ever created. Don't you their story would have been passed down throughout all people and all nations?

Yes you would think the story would have been passed down. Unfortunately the bible is the ONLY place which has that identical story as other cultures have their own fairy tale. It is obvious however that tribes earlier than the hebrews had similar stories that the hebrews adopted.
