Stephanus, so sorry! I had to take my beloved German Shepherd to be humanely put down. I don't know how I managed to get home - I was devastated and still can't get him out of my mind after more than a decade.

Stephanus, I'm so sorry to read about your cat. That is sad, and I'm sure the cat has been an integral part of the family.
When my pet cockatiel died some years ago, I kid you not, I was devastated, and depressed for months. To top matters off, the bird died accidentally. He was 15, and was a real character, and loved by everyone.
I understand how you must feel. A pet, in some cases, is worse than the death of a person.
