I've made some changes to the site over the last few months that have had an effect on SEO and it takes time for some of those to trickle though, have things re-indexed etc... but it is happening and there doesn't appear to be any issue as far as I can tell from a quick glance and newer content shows up much quicker (if you filter for last 24 hours or week for instance). We're actually up to being rated ~105k on Alexa which is pretty decent (out of all websites worldwide). JWTalk (pro JW forum) is down at ~650k :)
Incidentally, if you want to search for things on this site, you can put "site:www . jehovahs-witness . com [whatever you want to search for]"* in to Google and it will limit the search to just this site. That works for any site and lets you search it's content (and like most sites, the Google search is better than any inbuilt one).
*note, spaces in the URL above are to prevent it being converted into a link, it should be the regular domain without spaces when you search.

Do you think that the 'puter geeks at org HQ have put together some sort of computer program that automatically "searches" for "Jehovah's Witnesses" and its cognates all the time, perhaps from roving IP addresses, so that the "competition" like this site and other anti-JW ones are driven off the first page on a G search because such hits appear in the order of popular searches? In other words, their goal is to have only JWdotORG addys come up on page one of the G search results. I wouldn't put it past them...

I just Googled for Jehovah's Witnesses and didn't find a hit on us until page 8. I haven't done that for a few years now, but when I first joined we were always near the top of the first page.
