Truth and Honesty? Why is it only a one-way street??

The Society, "gods channel" teach and expect Truth and Honesty from all witnesses. Scripures are often quoted to promote such.

BUT, why is it only a one way street? Why is the Society not truthful and honest with witnesses? Why are scandals kept quite, and past falsehoods not shared? Why are witnesses not told of the uncomfortable history? Why is it that ones can be appointed in capacities such as elder, and have the responsibility to take the lead, and yet they are ignorant of the very organisation they are taking the lead in?

Simple answer to that is its called corruption to attain power and control or in other words bullshitting to attain power and control over people.

The WTS corruption is inherently sourced from the fact that its a publishing house/company.

Interesting is not that are hundreds of so called specifically channeled organizations but all individually teach different doctrines derived from the bible. ummmmm ???

The way they interpret the word crucify is just one example of how they go to great lengths to be dishonest. Its so obvious when they write "to the stake with him" instead of just one word "crucify". Just try to mention this word to a "still in", like "the cavillers were Crucified by golden state" and they will just cringe and change the subject. just purposely try to use the word crucify around them and they will start to shun you

Part of the strategy of creating a distinct religion based on Christianity is to make the others look wrong (false).

The WTS has been doing that continuously since its inception as a religious organization.

Ironically they exposed themselves as being false or wrong on many doctrines.

Yes, why hasn't the Society ever provided an honest explanation of their UN affiliation rather than some white washed excuse?

Why is it that they have gone to great lengths to make all older publications "disappear" from circulation?

Yes, re-writing of history is anything but honest....

Without a word of explanation - or care - the organization in the 1990s dropped the decades-long statement on the inside cover of the Awake about the generation that saw the start of World War One would also see the end of this system of things. Silently removed. Nothing said in print or word.

Wake Me Up Before You Jo-Ho

When texting a friend who is a 29 year old Witness about history repeating itself with 1975 and how much the brothers back then gave up in anticipation of that date, she messaged me saying "that was the brothers and sisters back then being stupid and not listening to the society." This new generation of a Witness sincerely believed that the society NEVER instructed brothers and sisters to look to that date with anticipation. That the society NEVER endorsed the ideals of some brothers and sisters who sold their homes, didn't plant crops and threw themselves into the full-time service as the "system came to a close."

Gee, I wonder where she got that line of reasoning? The society is blameless. Once again, the rank and file messed up and got ahead of themselves. Shame on them.

She is not alone in the new generation of Witnesses who suffer from this WT-induced amnesia of its own history.
