My sister lost the first child she conceived, after a year of trying to fall pregnant. It then took her 2 years to conceive again, and she ceratinly got a beautiful child! Although nothing can replace the child that died, my niece is a living testament to how beautiful children can be - inside and out!
I lost a baby in May 1989 when I was 4 months pregnant. I still feel the pain of that loss, even though I have had 3 children since then. I tell my children about the baby and how it was never meant to be. Even now I remember the excitement I felt at being pregnant and the intense love I felt for my unborn child.
