Mulan already knows this story: One day my husband was working at some dubs' house (he trades work with the husband, totally cool about our being X's) and he was thinking how weird it would be if an elder stopped by while he was still there. ding dong, guess who? Freaked him out a bit. He didn't show his face, just kept working and listening to this elder making up an excuse for being there. "I dropped by to help your daughter with her talk". After he left the mother gave the kids the third degree and found out NO ONE had asked him over and the daughter didn't need any help with her talk. Of course they had a little meeting later with the elders because my husband had been at their house.

Friday night I called our friends who like John Edward. You know who I'm talking about mom. We wanted them to come to dinner. I left a message and we left to go have a pizza at the beach. So we are sitting on the tailgate and some teenage boys are walking along and one starts calling out to Steve. It was her stepson. He lives about an hour away from us and we haven't seen him in a couple years but coincidentally he is walking along the beach we are having pizza at. OK, doesn't sound so strange written down but really, it was.

I think it's one of those things, Rachel. You put out the energy and it comes back to you somehow.

I took a two weekend, motivational seminar a few years ago, and during the goal setting part of it, we learned about how a goal you set, actually happens. It was all logical, in the teaching part, but when you break it down, it is just sending it out there, and watching it come back to you.

That seminar is what made me wonder if prayer was just a way of setting goals. I believe it is. I used to have a "Dream board" with cut out pictures of all my material goals. I finally took it down last year, because I realized I had gotten every single one of them. Pictures and keeping the goal fixed in your mind will make it happen. I have seen it work too many times.

I'm sure there was a bit of work involved as well. Otherwise I'd be a rock star by now!

Would you bring 2 more bottles of what I ordered

    Are you into bootleggin? hehe

I've tried a few times the techniques you're talking about in reference to thought / materialising. I wish I would use it more often cause it definitely works, especially when it's coupled with a strong focus.

Wish you the best in your business.

    Mulan,

Another thing: I told myself yesterday I would get $500 in orders over the weekend, off of my website. I've been getting $50-$100 a day. Today I am over $400 and still have tomorrow to go for the goal of $500 on the weekend.

Are you sure that you are not receiving God's Retrospective Blessing for having Pioneered so heartily in the past....lol

As for me I am obviously working for the opposition as I awake every morning with this unnerving feeling that my doormat will shortly be festooned with huge bills and that an hour later the Taxman will telephone looking for my accountants telephone number. I am seldom surprised with the days 'blessings'.

Yesterday was quite eventful and full of weird experiences. I started the morning by parking my car badly and slashing the front wall of my tire. I drive a sports car, so it cost me close to $500 and two hours to get a new tire. I sped off from the garage with great vigor subsequently displacing a very hot cup of coffee from its holder onto my lap while I was at full tilt and negotiating the Saturday traffic. Though the coffee had a lid, I had not clamped it into position carefully enough and the liquid hit its target perfectly. This is where the story gets interesting. I screeched over to the side of the highway, leapt from the car in full view of the traffic, undid my pants and had no choice but to begin flapping the unzipped pants in an effort to cool my nether regions. Just at that moment, my wife drove past in her car on the opposite side of the road. She was returning from the airport with some of her friends who were visiting for the weekend. You can imagine who has been the brunt of sadistic humor ever since. Temporarily walking like John Wayne, but it seems there is no permanent damage.

    Best regards - HS

I believe there are many things in this world that go beyond the 'it was only a coincidence' explaination....'things' that are probably so 'natural', but things that most of us don't understand. I think Jesus understood it, but most people like to make the scriptures too complicated. I think His statement about 'believing' is just that.... not a mental exercise, but a combination of the heart and the mind... a kind of 'knowing' that 'allows' things to happen.

I've had several experiences throughout the years that can't be explained (especially as 'coincidence'). I will share a very secular experience....now this is going to sound weird, like I said, it isn't something 'spiritual', but it happened a couple of times when I was in Vegas. I was at a crap table, and call it 'in the groove' or whatever, but before every roll of the dice, I got a 'feeling' of bets to be made. I know it sounds weird (or coincidence, one that lasted for a good half hour each time). I won a good chunk of change playing the so-called 'hunches' that came to my mind just about 90% of the time I was in this 'groove'. This happen two different times over a couple of years. Ahhh, but if I could figure out how to make that happen more times than not. Unfortunately, like most people, gambling for me is just a crap shoot.

    Hillary,

the liquid hit its target perfectly. This is where the story gets interesting.

This is too much for my to imagine. The sports car and 500 dollar fix is easy, but your humiliating behavior on the side of the highway while your wife and her friends drive by sounds like a future sitcom.

I hope you are as anonymous locally as your are on this board. You have never 'dropped your pants' here!

My take on this is that this type of thing works if you are in close alignment w your subconscious. If the subconscious is packed w negatives (or unharnessed energy, HS) that have not been dealt w, or otherwise not in agreement, it won't work.

The subconscious processes a tremendous volume of info. It also negotiates w the subconsciouses of many other people, and that is how you get results, imo.

Mulan, doesn't surprise me. If you are open/aware of such things, then they actually will start become commonplace. But it's uncanny nonetheless, isn't it?

    At work, similar.

We have a wide variety of customers. We also have some trouble-makers too. We don't serve them, and more often than not: kick them out.

Well every once in awhile, myself and the head bartender will say something like: "Geez...I haven't seen **** in ages" - guess who walks in, trying to steal drinks and scoop tips? The said person.

Or, if one of the street people with a rather violent disposition hasn't sauntered in, I'll sort of notice...'hmmm...haven't seen Whatisface' - presto! there he is. And my aggrevation and anxiety levels skyrocket!

But Mulan, I've had some interesting things happen to me over the years. When they happened with more frequency, then I sort of accepted them, and expect them to happen often, and they do, but they don't surprise me as much anymore.

    But it's neat isn't it?
