There just isn't a down side to the grandparent jig.
Beware of wenesdays misleading comments. In a short time things like this will start to happen.....
.....(it's 4:00PM and e-man has had 3 beers )....the grandkid shows up and runs to him and says"grandpa, let's go outside and you swing me". (e-man's cannot say no but wishes they would have come by at 11:30 AM ....after he got up and had his coffee and read the paper). Oh yes e-man ....there are days coming .........there coming!
BTW......congrats on your little tike. There is no other gift sweeter than a grandkid
