Dig a hole, throw me in. No box needed and no need for big ceremonies either cause I won't know the difference. Save the money and give it to someone who needs it. And if they need the parts they can have them also.
Burial or Cremation?

This subject is too creepy for me to respond to........... okay I will anyways.
Take whatever body parts you need, then cremate me. I would like my ashes to be spread out over the ocean.
I do not want an open casket either. I want people to remember me alive.

After going to upteen funerals since I was young person and viewing my grandparents, greatgrandparents, great aunts, uncles, etc., there is no alternative for me but cremation and have my cremains put in a niche.

I guess I always wanted to be buried but we have been looking around a lot of cemetries these past weeks tracing back ancestors and it is so sad to see how many gravestones are broken, toppled over, even put out to the garbage men - I couldnt help thinking that is someones legacy right there and the rubbish men are going to take it away.
If you are cremated then you get a nice plaque on the wall and you can be scattered wherever you want to be scattered. I feel it is so much more dignified. I also dont have to worry about someone having to maintain upkeep on my grave. Its painfull enough when someone dies without having to go every few weeks and maintain their grave.

I want to be cremated, and my ashes spead over Mt. Rainier, or the ocean. Havn't decided yet. Not something I like to think about.

Cremation for me and my family, its cost effective no embalming process. I don't necessarily want to be resting in a jar on a mantel though.

I would like to be buried in the back yard in the garden. That way, I could help fertilize the ground and my wife would have a better batch of vegetables.
Before my burial, I would want my brain donated to the local medical college, so they could, hopefully, figure out what made me tick. -

Too many people give little or no consideration to an option which would be of much more benefit than taking up vital ground space i.e. burial, or, a cause of pollution i.e. cremation.
When I die I want my body to be placed in bushland, well away from public access, to allow the native animals to have a feed. My family do not believe I am serious about this matter but it probably affords me an opportunity to contribute something worthwhile by my death.
