Do you consider yourself a worldly person?

The witnesses like to always talk in black and white. Either you were saved or damned. Either you served God or Satan. There was never any place for in betweens.

Since you don't belong to Jehovah's organization anymore, do you consider yourself worldly or somewhere in between?

JH: I always considered myself a worldly kind of person. Even as a J-dud. I was 24 when I started to study with the Duds. Had a lot of hard edges. Being a little guy, 5'5" I learned not to take crap from anyone and get right up in their face when they tried. Never lost that. I wouldn't look for trouble but I wouldn't back down from it when it came my way. The Duds never took to me because of that I guess. Maverick

Once baptized you can never be a "worldly person." You are either a JW or an ex-JW but never a non-JW.

this phrase 'worldly person' belongs to JWs reality, not mine. they're the ones that judge people and are more interested in the flesh than the spirit, so it can stay with them.

I consider myself a citizen of the universe, even if I am a new citizen of it. When I leave here, I'll go on to somewhere else: a little more spiritual, a little less material.

Wordly is a JW thought and term. I have no regard for it whatsoever.

Pleasuredome has the same mind set as I do. I refuse to accept any label that group tries to put on my, I am not subject to their judgement.

Nope. I am just a person. Just like everyone else. "Worldy Person" is just a label that the Jw's use to try to elevate themselves above anyone else.

I've traveled through 26 countries and speak 3 languages. Yes I am proud to be "worldly" and of having a fee mind.

When you look up the word "Worldly" you will see it means the same as these other words:

    Experienced, sophisticated, mature, knowing
