Jade and Roo were there too, what sweethearts. I'm sorry I didn't get more time to talk with them, but they made our beach fest complete by being the blonde babes in bikinis in the hot tub!! Gotta have blonde babes, right?

Sorry, there are no bikini pics to share. Since Freepeace was taking most of the pics, and he is a man of exquisite taste and refinement, he would never take pics of babes in bikinis and post them without their permission. Now, maybe someone else took some and would like to share??? Just for the benefit of poor Simon?

Ohhhhhh, that looks like it was SO much fun!!! Sorry we missed it, but maybe next time. That sunset on the beach has made me go all mushy inside!

The Texas gang (Jade, Roo, & Megadude) are home and safe after 14 hours of driving. It was worth every minute though.
What can I say except that I met some of the nicest people in my life. I feel like I have 25 new close friends so here are just a few of my memories:
Joy and Steve, you and your family are such gracious hosts and I just want to say thanks for welcoming us into your home. And what a beautiful home it was. Joy has a smile that would melt anyone's heart. I feel like I've known her for years. Steve is so sweet and has the prettiest eyes I have ever seen.. And you should see the kids, what a beautiful family.
I had a blast kayaking with safe4kids. We were so busy yacking away like old friends even though we just met that we didn't realize that we had drifted way down the beach. Wish we lived closer. I had fun building sand castles with your kids too. They are wonderful.

The last night we were there, Venice, Roo, Dantheman, and I went to eat and then to the karaoke bar. And let me tell you Aztec, he sings too!!!!!

NOW that I'm HOME - I can associate the name *Jade* and *Roo*. I've been on the computer waaaay tooooo long....these were the charming sisters of 'dude. And lovely too. Lord....those women hold their age well (not that there's much age to them anyway)!

The next time (and there will be) ------- please PLAN on coming to wherever there's a Freedomfest/gathering/apostafest! It's worth the time & effort. To *see* someone we've chatted/laughed/cried/argued with is terrific!
I know, I'll plan on attending the Next Time too (lol.....if they let me)
We're just fabulous people...that's all there is to it!

Btw, Marvin Schimmler (sp?) showed up for chat & golf Sunday. I was expecting a dignified, reserved, older gentleman.......who arrived was a good looking guy with charming accent and prettiest eyes I've looked into in a long time (other than my husband's).
Marvin was My Highlight. I love his posts and information here - and his research on the blood issue. He's just a natural-born communicator (and bullsh*t slinger - I suspect).
