So does the rank and file now understood that TOMO3rd is no longer GB?
surely they are asking questions and maybe hoping we will get an explanation
The R&F do not know about this, as earlier Posts in this Thread have shown.

They will be blissfully unaware of what's really going on as the JW TV personalities spew out the usual 'give us more money so you can live in paradise(tm)' propaganda.
There is a big disconnect between how we see the fake region and how the Jobots see it.
A lot of Jobots really are not interested in who is pulling their strings.
Ignorance is bliss. They can't see that they're in a cult.........which is very cultish.
Is it possible to come off being anointed and be other sheep and still be an Bethel elder?
As I understand it if an anointed one is disfellowshipped and later reinstated they do not become one of the other sheep. They remain as anointed, there is no "second prize".
This situation arose years ago with an anointed sister who fell away and disassociated for many years. Then her son died tragically and she came back to the meetings and resumed D2D etc. At the first Memorial she did not partake but apparently the CO had words with her as above and she resumed partaking until her death.
As regards AMIII I have never heard a single comment about him in the congregation so I assume no one knows/cares about the situation.

When I was in, this was the org's teaching on that:
One cannot be "demoted" from anointed to other sheep. Decisions that men in the org make (such as disfellowshipping, removal from GB, etc.) have no bearing on one's being or not being anointed. The anointing is from Jah, and men cannot remove it.
In the first century, all Christians were anointed. When one was disfellowshipped at that time, he was still anointed unless Jah had completely written him off and deemed him doomed to everlasting destruction. The disfellowhipping removed him from the congregation, but not necessarily from Jah's favor. If he was reinstated, he was still anointed.
So, today, Tony's removal from the GB or even disfellowshipping would not indicate he's no longer anointed. If Jah removes the anointing from a person, that person is doomed to eternal destruction; he or she does not have the option being part of the other sheep. Once anointed, always anointed unless determined to be worthy of Gehenna.
P.S. St George of England, as you can see, I agree with you.
Twelve days ago, I was at an airport waiting and there were two JWs doing ‘cart witnessing.’ They were seated and their cart was ~10’ from them. I usually walk in the terminal and I passed their area several times with zero eye contact and zero ‘witnessing.’
On one lap around the terminal, a middle-aged JW woman relocated and was standing next to her cart. I acknowledged her when I passed (head nod) and she asked me if I wanted any literature. No ‘sermon.’ No ‘preaching’ component. No reasoning with me.
I asked her why Tony Morris is off of the GB. She replied that she didn’t know but she guessed it was for “health reasons.” She seemed to try to shut down that line of inquiry as she said Tony and his family deserve privacy. I scoffed and said that all of the other GB members who had health issues remained on the GB until they passed. Same with elders in a congregation. I stressed that she KNEW that is SOP and she was trying to obfuscate. She bristled and asked me how I know about JWs.
I explained that I have an brother (who is an elder) and a sister who are JWs and I keep up with the goings-on. I asked her if she was raised a JW or did she convert. She replied in a very precise manner that she made her own decision as an adult after careful study, etc. etc. I pressed and asked if her parents were JWs and if they were JWs when she was a kid, etc. The complete truth is that she was raised as a JW… regardless of what she may have done at age 18.
We discussed other JW stuff (including the ‘tight pants’ issue and that the JW.org video clip was being played on ‘worldly’ stations and being mocked by the gay community). When leaving I asked her to do me a favor: ‘When you are alone and it is quiet, please think about our discussion regarding whether you were raised a JW. You prevaricated and tried to muddle the difference between being raised a JW and ‘making your own decision.’ You knew exactly what I was asking but you chose to try to divert. Why?’
No closer to discovering the story behind Tony’s departure but the interaction refreshed my sincere and deep-felt empathy for those still in.
I honestly think all this stuff about drunken fondling of daughter-in-law's is hooey. Morris is a hard line witness he's very unlikely to behave like that ( unless he was going into diabetic coma etc). As far as I'm aware he has a deep love for his wife and sons.
Rather than being in the wrong I think it's far more likely it's Morris that's taken the hard line in a clash over doctrine or policy. (The others Possibly using Morris' fondness for alcohol as an excuse to have him removed).
They may have clashed over Serena Williams being allowed to publicly associate with political organizations like the NAACP without any consequences. It may seem petty but old style JWs would take a very dim view of it and you'd never get away with it back in the day.
As to finances, provided he hasn't been DF (very unlikely), he'll be taken care of by the organization. They will have learned their lesson from Ray Franz. Anyway he still has a US veterans (active service) pension to fall back on.

Probably determined by how much contributions were made
