  an incredibly irresponsible move that will increase the risk to JWs in Russia. And the GB knows this very well. They know it will make it more dangerous for the JWs in Russia, not less.What this WT spokesman fails to say is that this letter writing campaign is being done to protect the WT assets in Russia and it disregards the individuals themselves.

  I understand that the letter-writing might well make things worse for JWs as persons....

  But I don't understand your point about "this letter writing campaign is being done to protect the WT assets".

  If letter-writing does not ameliorate the situation for JWs as a people, how does letter-writing "protect assets"?

  Seems like if it is ineffective at protecting people, it would also be ineffective at protecting assets.

  hell no, no way will any GB member show their fat faces in Russia, why throw them selves to the lions when they have slaves for that

  They have asked for the case to be held in a large courtroom, enough to hold 200 people, they have also asked for permission to videotape it.
