He talks about how a group of 5,000 broke away from the organization due to distrust of government agents infiltrating the JWs. They weren't regarded as apostates, just distrustful. He uses phrases like "their leader" and "his Elders", and how they had a meeting with the Governing Body and made the decision for all these thousands to reintegrate them into the JWs, splitting them up among congregations. I just wonder: How can ANY JW watch this and not be hit with the fact that this is a HUMAN organization led by HUMANS ONLY?

I think I’ve seen this one before. Does Lösch get oddly emotional and tearful when he describes how the rival leaders decided to put their differences aside and make friends in the end?
If so, it has the feel of myth-like story that Lösch has incorporated as central to his identity as a JW. It is brief moments like this one that convince me that most of the GB do actually believe that they head the true organisation of God.
On the other hand, there is perhaps a wistful quality to Lösch reminiscing about “simpler times” in the truth, when the most complicated issue he had to deal with was splinter groups in eastern block countries. Nowadays he faces abuse cover-ups, endless court cases, inquiries, financial troubles, bethel politics, and goodness knows what other nasty issues the current GB must find it increasingly difficult to escape.
(If that’s the wrong clip, never mind!)

SBF, you're right, that's the exact clip. With regards to him being a true believer, I agree. Although he is the longest serving GB member, I think he is also the most simple minded and least conniving, almost stumbling on being on the GB. Most of his talks consist of verbatim quotes that he got from WT Library, just like an average rank and file would write.

The sad part is, that each and all that would support the material smuggled ,mimeographed , would be disfellowshipped to day. Good bye to the claim be wt writers to be for the guardian and dispenser of 'enduring truth for the eternal creator'.
all these sacrifices for what? a false hope.
The mood of the video reflected that G. Loesch realizes that the idea of this wt ideal ist geloescht. Fervent hope extinguished.

Funny the publications that the brothers smuggled in at great risk were thrown in the garbage from the k.h. libraries

Not all of the Romanian breakaways decided to return:

Odd, wonder why Losch decided not to talk about them?

I also caught what he said about some infiltrating the JW's even to the point of being appointed as elders. So much for their claim of holy spirit being involved in appointing.
