GodBeliever, I have no idea what your point is. Let me start with your opening words... "Trust ye not in lying words".
Are you applying that to the man who left JWdom? Are you applying it to us ex-JWs? People like you come on here and just post a bunch of words, the meaning of which is unclear. I say this honestly, not just to insult: I really think people like you are mentally unstable and are societal misfits.
I could very easily and rightly apply your opening words to JWs... "Trust ye not in lying words". JWs should not trust all the deception, dishonesty, plain out wrong words coming from their leaders. They should not trust the doctrine that is shown more and more to be wrong with each passing day.
I am applying it to GB.

If you insult me what difference does it make. You don't know anything about me. So feel free to imagine whatever you like.
PISTOL PETE & JW GONE BAD:
Yes, I also saw this on Reddit. It’s quite possible he was disgusted with that ‘overlapping generation’ among other things (like maybe being hit up for money for people who never wanted to work)..I got out about twenty years ago and can’t imagine still sitting there through all that!
I just hope he has some kind of social support besides the one child (maybe other relatives/friends who are out). It would definitely be tough when somebody is older. I’m glad he had the courage to say ‘enough’. 👍🏻
I had to get out of Watchtower, the stupid rules and control over your one's life was just ridiculous. Then, the imaginary god that suppose to solve all your life issues if you serve his Organization that is self serving and is corrupt. Can't wait on something that does not exist. Yet there is alot of people still fooled.

It was a CLOSE CALL LongHairGal. Not many are smart enough to see the danger.
GodBeliever, I'm sorry. I really mean it. I'm just so accustomed to people coming on here and quoting a bunch of Scripture and not really making a point and/or not reasoning well that I made a wrong assumption about your post. My words were meant honestly, not as an insult. I really feel that a lot of religious people are not stable. They have this glassy/glossy look in their eyes as if they're under some kind of mind control. I made the assumption that you were of that type.
Unlike many, if not most, on this site, I have not given up completely on the Bible. I have a lot of issues with it and I have a lot of unanswered questions about its contents, its authenticity, etc. However, I'm keeping an open mind.
I am happy I never made the connection. Of course there are some superficial similarities between the too (JWism and the Bible)
Here is another experience by a 75 year old jw posted on the same experience.
isettaplus19598 hours ago · edited 8 hours agoI'm 75 ,I woke up about 5 years ago after joining jws in 1963 .It was the kind GB that did it for me .they pushed us older ones onto the internet ,I knew something was wrong for years but could never quite put my finger on it .I guess I never felt relaxed and happy with the constant pressure to do more .the internet revealed all the lies and false information that we had been fed ,and the wicked child abuse cover up . My wife is still jw we have a truce .she accused me of leaving Jehovah however I told her that I had not left them but could no longer trust the GB . The biggest change was the anointed no longer being the faithfull slave but only the GB being the slave .that meant that ever since the time of pastor Russell the whole doctrine had been false !. The whole thing is now morphing into a new on line trash internet religion with no real substance .
