If the UN fails, what do JWs have prepared?

  I was listening to a podcast about the current geopolitical situation, apparently the UN has gone so far off the reservation being controlled by and trying to align themselves with anti-West values, a number of countries is attempting to kick Israel out of the UN because it is defending itself against Iran.

  Off course, many African nations, some Middle Eastern, China and Russia and a few European nations are all in some amalgamated economic league. If the vote happens while Biden is still President, it’s unlikely, given the election, the party is willing to throw their anti-Semitic base under the bus and wouldn’t veto it, hence why these people are considering doing this now and China/Russia would go along just to create some mayhem. The UN weeks ago voted to hand over a significant part of Jerusalem to an unspecified state of Palestine, this likewise went unopposed by the Biden-Harris administration.

  If this happens, given the outcome of the next election, the US will almost certainly have to abandon and disband the UN. If the UN commits seppuku on this (if not now, some other time given it has handed out control to so many anti-Western and even non-existing nations), what will the JW say once ‘the second beast’ is dead. The entirety of Revelation interpretation book would have to be rewritten, most of the last 100 years abandoned.

  As we can see friends, the bible is telling us that we are really close because The Beast which you saw, (United Nations)

  "Once Was" ...It used to exist before Trump stopped supporting it with funds

  "And yet will come up out of the Abyss........Will eventually come back in power

  "And go to its destruction" ....This is when the Great Tribulations will officially start.

  So friends, NOW, is the time to pioneer, NOW is the time for all you young ones to volunteer in the building work of our New facility, NOW is not the time to slack off.

  @liam: but they already used that explanation for the League of Nations, which, like the UN was a complete failure.

  If the UN were disbanded, I would expect the WTS to provide "new light" indicating that this is a clear sign that the end is near. They will make statements to the effect that this is it-- THIS time, it's going to happen. But they will word the statements in such a way that they can deny them later. Two or three years later, when the world is still puttering along, they will find a new interpretation to make up for the fact that their favorite bogeyman is gone.

  The infrastructure is in place for them to deal with any and every such disappointment. It's more a question of how our always-connected world will view them when it is no longer so easy to whitewash the past.

  The UN is not a failure, it will do what it was created to do when the time comes for it to be empowered. (If the Bible is false then I guess don't hold your breath for that to ever happen but if the UN does get empowered by the nations, then perhaps there is truth to this.)

  The WTS lies about being appointed in 1919 (therefore tells lies to arrive at 1919) in order to have people believe that so they will choose to be within that religion and not others.

  It's basically, 607>>> 2,520 years later>Oct 1914>3 1/2 years cleansed>April 1918>appointed in 1919 due to the cleansing that supposedly took place.

  The WTS has used what they refer to as 'apostate' sites to get the correct understandings as the years have gone by and then they make changes to incorporate those understandings when they see world events lining up with what the 'apostates' have said. The WTS/GB makes it look as if they are the ones with the insight on these changes.

  The WTS/GB claiming now that the UN will get (future) its power from the nation's first before the turning on BTG, is correct according to the Bible.

  What they fail to state at this point is that when that power is given that that corresponds with the 42 months. They can't admit to that right now because that will show that the 42 months were not Oct 1914 - April 1918, therefore no cause for being appointed in 1919.

  They also fail to outright state at this time that the reason the 'nations' will give the UN power is because of WW3 (4 horsemen). They of course as part of their lies claim that the 4 horsemen have been riding since 1914 (WW1). But on JW dot org from time to time they have been introducing that WW3 is coming. Again, not because of their great insightfulness but because of 'apostates' and actual current world events, that they cannot ignore.

  WTS/GB's only goal is to stay together 'as is' until the outbreak of WW3, when at that point it won't matter any longer.

  Its alllllll about them. Adoration., unquestioningly obedience. They'll likely be ushered off some place safe & cared for.

  @Duran: where does the Bible call out the UN and in why aspect has it been successful? Cold War? Vietnam, Korea, China? Yugoslavia? Seriously, where has the UN helped anything?

  Let’s say WW3 breaks out, which by all intents and purposes Biden probably already started (call it the silent war as nobody is allowed to talk about it) why is that the end? All that has to happen is the media suddenly starts highlighting all the conflict Biden (re)started and put Americans near or on the ground (Ukraine, Poland, Iran, UAE, Saudi-Arabia, Lebanon, Taiwan, Sudan, Ethiopia, Finland, Pakistan, India, China), the EU falls apart, the wars become less covert, effectively that would be WW3.
