It appears that "love bombing" is done in some congregations but not so much in others. At this juncture in my life, I couldn't bear to see someone getting "love bombed".

I would welcome new people, but I didn't go nuts about trying to make an impression. One time, we had two college students who were doing a report on religions visiting for a public talk (they wisely left before the WT study). I often wish I could have seen them leaving and ask them what the really thought. But anyway, it was like a big novelty having them there, since we were being 'observed'. They were pretty much love-bombed, from what I recall.

I was guilty of it at times, it usually depended on my mood.
I would definitely welcome the few cute young studies that attended the KH.
I even got a boyfriend out of it

If you get a boyfriend or girlfriend out of it, doing the "love bomb" is OK.
