"They aren't even allowed to talk (pray) to Jesus, their supposed King."

Nothing to do with being allowed. It's a matter of that's not how it works.

Why would anyone want t pray to Jesus when he said: "“You must pray, then, this way: “‘Our Father in the heavens"

Romans 1:8 "I give thanks to my God through Jesus Christ concerning all of you,"

John 14:6 "Jesus said to him: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"

The only thing indicating any form of prayer to Jesus is: John 14:13 "Also, whatever you ask in my name, I will do this, so that the Father may be glorified in connection with the Son. If you ask anything in my name, I will do it"

But that is so narrow and specific it can hardly be consider a prayer.

Carla, I get the feeling that they loathe Jesus in the same way that they loathe children. Both inevitably have to be acknowledged as an uncomfortable reality but both get in the way of the money-making worldwide work.

The Watchtower sells fear so they can be your Savior.

Governments and politicians also sell fear so they can be your Savior too.

The bible says to fear not 331 times.

The Gospels record Jesus saying "fear not" 16 times.

.... a much better way to live.

I watched it and liked it. My one criticism is the dialogue. It's not conversational, but is very stilted. It's as if they're addressing a slow-learning four year old.

"It's not conversational, but is very stilted."

That seems to be par for the course with most attempts to translate bible events on to the big (and small) screen(s). Even the big bible epics from back in the day seem stilted and lacking in conversationality*".

    * Pardon my word coinage! 🥴
