The Ark Encounter located in Kentucky (opened in 2016) is a large representation of Noah's Ark based on the Genesis flood narrative contained in the Bible. It is 510 feet (155 m) long, 85 feet (26 m) wide, and 51 feet (16 m) high.
Genesis 6: 14 So make yourself an ark of cypress[c] wood; make rooms in it and coat it with pitch inside and out. 15 This is how you are to build it: The ark is to be three hundred cubits long, fifty cubits wide and thirty cubits high.[d] 16 Make a roof for it, leaving below the roof an opening one cubit[e] high all around.[f] Put a door in the side of the ark and make lower, middle and upper decks.
Here is a photo of a representation of Noah's Ark that was built in Kentucky as a tourist attraction. Notice the size of this large structure. Heavy equipment is needed to cut the timber, haul and transport all the logs, lift the heavy timbers and construct it so that the structure doesn't leak after heavy rains.
Noah's Ark is a structure that couldn't have been built in Noah's time. After you take off your rose-colored glasses, you realize this story is allegorical. There is no way anything of this size could have been built over 4,000 years ago!
