  If not, what's in it for the GB?

  But seriously, how is it supposed to work? Pictures of JWs in paradise show them raising crops, wearing clothes and building houses. They still have to eat. The distribution of labour between various projects, needs and priorities has to be rationed out somehow. That's the role of money in the current system. Something like it would have to take its place. Unless the plan is abject slavery. (It's not like the GB hasn't already been grooming the JWs to think of themselves as slaves)

  DIY ( build your own house and live in it , plant your own vineyard and drink the wine you make -so who needs money when you are so self sufficient!)

  Definitely no need for money in the New World.

  Barter and share things out of a generous spirit. Money to me is a necessary evil

  in this evil insane Satanic World, but why would it be needed in the paradise?

  Money and credit are useful forms of exchange as a community grows larger. Bartering is convenient when you are living in huts or caves and have very few material goods (including food). But as living standards increase and lives become more stable and organized, bartering can take up an inordinate amount of time and can lead to scarcity (more time spent bartering, less time spent producing goods to barter with).

  In a world populated by perfect people and led by a god who provides everything and keeps things in order, money would not be any problem at all. It would work perfectly and suffer none of the issues that occur in an imperfect world.

  We used to ask these questions as far back as the ‘60s. The answer was always, wait and see…There are are a good many reasons why the ideal of living off the land with no economy or industry would not work.

  No money needed. remember the bible says if you don't work you won't eat, so you will be busting you a-- for some un-thankful elder building his lavish elder house in exchange for a crust of bread. Then he will come build your grass hut in exchange for a table full of food that can barely be held up by the table legs, and probably want your kids to fan him with palm leaves, while you feed him.

  Is there going to be a new system?

  Money ( except tge fiat currency used now) represents a tangible asset, be it gold, grain, cattle, etc., so there is a need for documentation and record keeping.
