What Is The Purpose Of YORWW Having A Creed & The Forty (40) Basic, Fundamental Truth Requirement?

Many people have wondered about the above question and our stand on the Forty (40) Basic, Fundamental Truths, and why we make it a requirement for individual Jehovah's Witnesses to believe these ideas before...before they can join our five (5) Discussion Boards.

Well, its called the YORWW Congregation, isn't it?

Its a congregation of like believers and persons of like faith. (Matthew 18:20) So they are supposed to agree on their beliefs, exactly as first century christians agreed upon their beliefs. Its called the Creed of the Church, as many church organizations have them today, and members agree on these ideas BEFORE they join. It cuts down on confusion. That way, everyone knows UP FRONT, exactly what they are getting themselves in to. (I like the idea myself, after being completely misled by the WTBTS for so long.)

And since everyone thus far all, are either former or current Jehovah's Witnesses, they shouldn’t have a problem with those forty basic truths.

And it is the same way when someone wants to join the YORWW Congregation.

See this link for the YORWW Congregation Creed: http://www.yorww.com/3statements.html )

What would you rather see ... total chaos, to be going on over there?

Besides Paul made it crystal-clear, the True Church MUST AGREE . . . must agree on religious ideas, teachings, beliefs and tenets of faith, so that they would preach & teach IN UNISON in the first century. -- See 2 Corinthians 13:11; 1 Timothy 6:1.

In fact, 1st Corinthians 1:10 plainly says:

“I appeal to you brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought.” (New International Version)

“But in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ I beg of you, brothers, that all of you agree, that you eliminate factions among you, and that you be united in mind and attitude.” (Modern Language Bible)

“I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony with each other. Let there be no divisions in the church. Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose.” (New Living Translation)

    'nuff said.

From what I can gather, the poster regards themselves as God's prophet sent to gather Jehovah's Witnesses (the true religion) into an online 'wilderness' to receive 'Divine Instruction' until the WT is disciplined sufficiently for being an NGO. I see they have suffered from a messiah complex for many years. I don't think we are doing them any favors enabling them.

As members of the YORWW Congregation, we believe and teach Jehovah's Witnesses are God's Name People, established as such in 1931,....Therefore, in harmony with the powerful judgment messages of the prophets of old, yes, our prophetic message today as shown above, is called THE "REPORT",....
So a "voice" that speaks from the "wilderness" point of view, then has to be viewed as coming from a source OUTSIDE of the camp of Israel -- the voice of a prophet of God. Therefore, if God were to raise up a "prophet" then in our day, during times of National Apostasy to warn the people, he would no doubt raise him up from the "wilderness" point of view, thus being seen by the majority of people as being OUTSIDE the camp of Israel or apostate nation. Also, as we might rightly expect, this "voice from the wilderness" would urge "repentance" like John the Baptist did during his day. And yet, we would rightly expect this "prophet" to be seen or perceived by the nation as a whole as a distant "voice", far away from the nation itself. This "voice" would no doubt be generally considered by the religious leaders of that time and general populous, to be an OUTSIDER to the nation of Israel, thereby speaking from a non-acceptable source or point of origin...namely, the "wilderness." Think about it.THE YORWW ARRANGEMENT AS GOD'S SPECIAL "SANCTUARY" OR "TABERNACLE" FOR ALL MANKIND!

Perhaps, you may remember hearing some of the older Jehovah's Witnesses in your congregation say,

"If a brother or sister sins, he can reprove himself, he does NOT . . . not need to talk to the elders about it. It is between him/herself only . . . and Jehovah."

Have you ever heard older ones say this?

Actually, this viewpoint was held for a long time by many of Jehovah's Witnesses around the world.

In fact, this viewpoint became popular back in the mid-1970s among Jehovah's Witnesses world wide. This is because the Watchtower Society actually taught this in their literature for a period of time. Of course as of recent, they have gotten away from this viewpoint. They now want to monitor a person's any and every movement, censoring any error, mistake or mishap a person may make within the Christian Congregation. They teach the elders to hover over the flock like a hawk, ready to pounce upon them at any given moment, even if they give a hint at sinning. They even tell the elders to "police" the private bedroom of married couples! Isn't that true?

    This is appalling!

However, when we take a close look at Jeremiah 2:19, Jehovah does agree with their original viewpoint of things. Yes, a sinner should be able to reprove himself, using God's Word as a form of "Godly Discipline" toward him or herself. (2 Timothy 3:16, 17) He does not need any outside help from other individuals to do this. -- See 2 Chronicles 16:9; Jeremiah 17:9, 10; 1 Corinthians 9:27; James 4:17.

Take for example this verse, 2 Samuel 24:10 New Living Translation, which tells us:

    • "But after he had taken the census, David’s conscience began to bother him. And he said to the LORD, “I have sinned greatly by taking this census. Please forgive my guilt, LORD, for doing this foolish thing.”"

Clearly, King David did not need any help from outsiders to help him appreciate the fact, that he had sinned . . . gravely.

Therefore, he (David) immediately, after sinning, took the appropriate steps to repair his relationship with Jehovah after sinning and promptly rectified the situation, as we see above, to regain his good status with "his God and Father," Jehovah God. (John 20:17) A fine example for all of us today!

To be sure, this simple example shown above, also shows us that it is entirely UNNECESSARY, for a "Judicial Committee" among Jehovah's Witnesses to be convened to verbally chastise, degrade or publicly humiliate congregation members because of sins committed by themselves, known only to themselves. No "Judicial Committee" is needed for this. Yes, this erring one, can reprove himself, based upon what God's Word plainly says. No problem.

However, there may be instances where a Christian follower of Christ may err, and perhaps through stubbornness or arbitrary attitudes displayed at times, he may need additional help, yes, outside help,to get himself back on the right track with Jehovah. This is something that Jesus taught us. In this case, the elders and yes, even the entire congregation can assist a person to regain his senses, if he/she persists in sinning, especially, if this has become known to others. Jesus highlights the fact, that the "lost sheep" of the "100 sheep" in his care, may need to be "brought to repentance," in this particular instance. (See Matthew 18:10-18; Luke 15:1-7; 1 Timothy 5:20.) Remember this also happened to King David, Jehovah sent the prophet Nathan to straighten him out over his sin with Uriah and Bathsheba. David needed additional help, in this particular instance. And, Jehovah obliged him. Jehovah sent the prophet Nathan. -- See 2 Samuel 11:1-12:22.

    Modern-Day "Israel" In Apostasy Today!

Likewise, the same could be said to be true of God's Name People today. We could say, this same situation is also true today of:

However it seems, 8.7 million Jehovah's Witnesses are not willing to "repent," over their public apostasy, in connection with the United Nations. Yes, it has been over 20 years since this Great National "Sin" has been publicly known about, through the Guardian Newspaper ever since October 2001, and still Jehovah's Witnesses have not . . . have NOT repented before God Almighty, like stubborn King David did. -- Isaiah 65:2; Hosea 4:16

So, what is Jehovah & Jesus Christ, the Head of the Christian Congregation, to do, I ask?

What will Jehovah God and Jesus, the Head of the Christian Congregation, do about this horrendous, horrific, public sin? Yes, even though this particular sin . . . has "escaped the notice" of the vast majority of Jehovah's Witnesses, globally-speaking? The Law of Moses points out, that even in cases where the "sin is hidden from the congregation," ATONEMENT is still needed on the part of the nation, in God's eyes. (See Lev. 4:13-21 NRSV)

So again I ask, what is Jehovah & Jesus Christ, the Head of the Christian Congregation, to do about such a situation?

Again, Jehovah and Jesus Christ, will oblige them (Jehovah's Witnesses). Just like king David.

    Simple.

    Jehovah and Jesus will send the apostate, wayward nation of "Israel" of today, a "Helper" [Greek: paraclete] . . . yes, a Special "Helper" to help them out, who will "convict" them of Sin, just like Nathan did David. (Some translations render this expression "Advocate," "Comforter," "Counselor.") Yes, they need additional help, in this instance. They need, a prophet, to help them out, because of great transgression committed against God Almighty! They need . . . the "Spirit of Truth," a human, a man, an appointed special person and "representative of God," (John 1:6), who is both from, Jehovah God and Jesus Christ, sent to "save" the nation of "Israel" from complete destruction. -- See Isaiah 49:5-6; Malachi 4:5-6; John 14:26; John 15:26; John 16:7-12;

    Think about it.

To prove the point that "Sin" [UN-NGO situation] itself, needs to "correct" and "discipline" all Jehovah's Witnesses world wide, let's take a look at various renderings of the bible text of Jeremiah 2:19 shown below.

    Hi All,

It's interesting to me that the price of the book is an issue here.

However, perhaps it would be better to consider how and why a person would get the book.

The book is actually written only for Jehovah's Witnesses, former or current. It is not written to the general public since they know very little about what Jehovah's Witnesses believe or don't believe. It is a doctrinal essay. It was written in the fall of 1994.

That being the case, over the last 30 years we rarely find anyone interested in the book that is not one of Jehovah's Witnesses; occasionally a Catholic priest or a Baptist minister might request a copy of the book.

Over the past 30 years since we've had the book in print, we have found that it is a very effective tool for those among Jehovah's Witnesses to have the book when they agree to take the 90-day online bible study course with us.

For details on the free 90-day online bible study course, see this link:

    https://www.yorww.com/rules.html

In other words, a person does not need to buy this book if he is NOT going to take the online 90-day bible study course.

    We do not recommend it.

Instead, a curious person who is either one of Jehovah's Witnesse or not, can learn much of the same information found in the book FOR FREE by consulting over 100 full-color blogs complete with numerous scriptures at our "scubadiving" page.

    See link:

I hope this clears the air about the work of Donald C. Burney, who founded the YORWW Congregation 33 years ago and personally financed this venture with his own capital. He certainly does not need anybody's money.

Jesus said, "the truth is free". (Matthew 10:8)

. . . Now, can we get on with some real Bible education.

    Respectfully,

I love how this YORWW site explains that 16 Jehovah's Witnesses left the Watchtower because it was a cult...

They reject "natural" Israel for it's sins against Jesus...

But now they know the "real" truth, namely that the people of Jamaica have become the New Jerusalem and God will soon be converting them to speak Hebrew as a supernatural sign to all humanity.

    Yep, Jamaica.

Definitely not another "snare and a racket." Put your money down quick before they run out of books.

Let Simon know about this one!
