I was doing that literally since the day I was born. That's nothing new, using children for their propaganda that is. The only difference is the technology used for it.

I think it's wrong for children to promote any kind of ideology, politics, etc. about which they are virtually clueless. They are unqualified. They have not got enough knowledge, maturity, experience, etc. Those kids would be Muslims if they had been born in a Muslim part of the world. They didn't choose JWism because they carefully researched; they are JWs only because they were born in a JW family.
Could they answer questions? What if somebody asked them about how the Bible canon was selected? They know nothing of the history of the religion they promote. They weren't even born in 1994 when the "generation" teaching of the time expired - the one that so many like me bet their lives on, so they know nothing about that. They know nothing of 1975. They don't know who Fred Franz was - or Joseph Rutherford or Charles Russell. They probably just direct people to JWdotORG.

We had phone witnessing in my part of the U.S. in the 90s and 00s.
I don't recall children making calls.

Blondie, a "religious propaganda phone bank" is what having young kids like in the above photo meet at the hall to practice and make unsolicited calls to people in their community with offers for bible studies, religious based literature and invitations to JW.0rg or an Assembly/Convention.
They are being run in some KH's all over creation. In my local hall in Mass. pioneers take young one under their wing and train them by making practice calls then they call up numbers from researched lists of gathered phone numbers in places with buildings where they cannot enter unless invited in. It's called "doing telephone territory".
How do I know pre-teens are involved. Because some of the kids being trained and used aren't even 13 yo.

Well, I know that young ones are taken under the wing now by older jws to train them how to go door to door. I remember practice sessions after the book study.
D2D or on the phone, same concept. Each time people at the door and answering phone wonder why this child is talking to them about religion.....not an adult. I was that child and was that adult training. It was ridiculous.
