the initial conversation had to do with someone who has the ability to reason for them self's.

i than asked her.....why is the memorial in march and not in April when Nissan 14 is?

her response..."Pray to Jehovah for understanding." WTF.

well that sums up her ability to reason.

I haven't told her that i think the memorial is like a black mass the rejects Jesus.

Why can't she open her eyes?

Can't imagine Jesus inviting guests to an event but insisting they do not 'partake'. If that man could see what has evolved from that event in the upper room within the dub cult he would surely laugh out loud.

Jesus would like you at his memorial but doesn't want you drinking the wine V friends have invited me for a few glasses of red at a local establishment. Hmm...

It's not about reason. Reason didn't get her in and reason won't get her out.

    I'm sorry.

    Try:

    http://www.studiesintheword.org/jewish_calendar_errors.htm

"This article explains why most observant Jews and others following the Jewish calendar will be celebrating God's annual Holy Days one month late in 2016.

In trying to follow Exodus 12:2, Exodus 13:3-4, 7-10, and Numbers 9:2-3, Judaism says that Passover, which they celebrate on Nisan 15 rather than on Nisan 14, must not fall before the northern hemisphere spring equinox (Tekufot Nisan). The spring equinox currently occurs each year on March 20th or 21st and is that time when day and night are of approximately equal length. The spring equinox establishes the first day of spring. It is a solar, not a lunar, phenomenon.

But current Jewish calendar procedures periodically conflict with the use of the equinox to establish the first month of the religious year:

In 2016, Nisan 14 (Passover) can fall on March 22, the first opportunity for the 14th day of a Biblical month to occur after the equinox. But the Jewish calendar sets Nisan 14 at April 22nd. Why? Because the Jewish year 5776 (the spring months of 2016 fall within the Jewish year 5776) happens to be the 19th year of the 19-year calendar cycle and is then, by Judaic definition, a leap year (the 13th month must be added). This forces the first month to begin one month later than it normally would. Unfortunately, their calendar leap year tradition is so rigid that they fail to follow what we agree is the correct interpretation of the scriptures listed above, that God gave them, which strongly imply that the Passover must be kept at the first opportunity on or after the spring equinox.

What allows them to ignore their own calendar rules? One reason they feel free to adjust the calendar to their liking is because Leviticus 23:2 and 4 are interpreted by Jewish Oral Law as saying that the people are allowed to keep the Holy Days on whatever day is most convenient.

goingthru: Why can't she open her eyes?

Fear. And a lack of belief in herself and her own ability to think. She has no self-empowerment - she has been told that she cannot reason for herself.

Afraid of being wrong. Afraid to let go. She thinks she might drown because she can't swim.

They can reject Jesus (and Astaroth, to boot) on the day that happens to be Purim. But, either way both religions are damnation--proper (??) Judaism and jokehovianism are both surefire ways to dishonor Astaroth and nature. (Properly done, Easter is Astaroth's holiday. It honors fertility, and that's where the lamb, chicks, and rabbits come from.)

But going to the boasting session, either day, is a complete waste of time. Going there, thinking you are honoring Jesus when you are not, listening to a boring talk, watching the emblems pass, and then rushing out before the next congregation enters is not the way to salvation. You want to honor Jesus? Then do the ceremony properly, in small groups where everyone on hand sees you partaking. If you want to reject Jesus, that's fine too--just blow the whole thing off. Either way, you will be better off.

*** w11 2/1 p. 22 Are You Prepared for the Most Important Day of the Year? ***

But what date corresponds to Nisan 14 on our calendar today? A simple calculation helps us arrive at the proper date. Nisan 1 starts when the new moon nearest the spring equinox (the start of spring in the Northern Hemisphere) becomes visible at sunset in Jerusalem. If we count 14 days from that event, we arrive at Nisan 14. This date is usually the day of the full moon

The question is really why Jews are celebrating on the eve of April 22 and jws on March 23?

jws can't calculate 1914 let alone NIsan 14...Just pray to God....will he drop the answer into their brain through holy spirit?
