  Not true. A policy or proposal should be strong enough to stand on its own merit. Your lying about it undermines the message Bernie Sanders is giving. Taxes will rise for all in a variation of forms including capital gain taxes and a tax to subsidize universal health coverage which includes those under $250,000 earned income.

  Tax the rich and poor equally at about 33% and instead of social security and welfare give everybody a monthly citizen's wage for just enough to live on whether they want it or not that way you end the class warfare because everybody will know how much paying taxes sucks but then again you don't have to give beggars anything and there will be nothing left to scam. That way nobody can blame the rich or the poor for everything sucking in their life.

  Classic "divide and conquer" stuff that keeps what's left of the middle class pissed at the lower classes. I grew up in a family of wannabe republicans, hearing about "welfare queens". They were gonna vote Trump until he really blew it.

  Being 60 years old now, I've seen the wages go down, prices go up, work go overseas and corporate higher ups getting obscenely huge pay. I've been self employed and at times worked for people with large money - I was advised by one to grow my business : "Hire a bunch of Mexicans, pay as low as possible." To my protests of not wanting to use people that way - "People like that can't handle money - if you pay them too much you just make problems for them." No joke.

  I should have rephrased: You tax brackets would not change unless you are making over 250,000.

  Yes you would see a slight raise in your taxes to pay for healthcare, BUT you would not be paying thousands for healthcare premiums as well as lowering medical costs. So I would say on Healthcare, it would be more than a wash, it would be a net gain.

  As for the rest yes I suppose it's largely opinion I would be curious what part you consider incorrect. Bernie is an FDR democrat compare the two. Him being described as some "radical" only flies in the US where both parties are massively more right than the rest of the industrialized world. Anywhere else he would be considered moderate.

  There has been no proof trickle down economics benefit anyone but the already wealthy. I tend to believe there is a reason most economist favor "liberal" economic policy over the typical tax cuts for the wealthy approach of the GOP.

  Americans have to scuttle their bizarre many payers (executives) defunct healthcare system in favor of free healing for all, perhaps reigning in the rich, free uni for the deserving only, but also introduce a simple sales tax . , imho

  I agree with most of what you wrote.
  

  I rather not quibble on the Bernie/FDR comparison. I've read a few biographies on FDR and the two men have some similarities but I don't agree with assertion that Bernie is an FDR democrat. So I'm going to just go by memory and you can correct me if I'm wrong since it is your position and not mine.

  But I thought FDR didn't support a complete universal health care it was actually Truman that proposed a truly universal health care. FDR was focused only on the needy where Truman's plan was for all.

  On a personal level these two men couldn't be further apart. FDR was born into wealth and married into wealth. He attended the best private schools and the elite colleges. He was cousin to a former USA president and had connections Bernie never had.

  If he/she ever finds him/herself in need of food or medical care, he/ she will surely turn down Food Stamps and Medicaid.

  People who complain like this should be excluded from those benefits.
